My family and I had a wonderful time! The cabin was just right for the four of us and our dog. The arcade games, fire pit, and hot tub were a hit! We were close to area attractions and looked forward to returning to the cabin to relax. The fully stocked kitchen and gas grill made it convenient to cook and enjoy meals on the deck. Thank you for a great place to make special memories!
Fantastic mountain getaway that's close to Asheville
I'm almost a little reluctant to share how much my wife (and dog) loved this cabin for fear that it will become too popular. The cabin is very clean and secluded and is the perfect spot for rekindling the spark in your relationship. Really liked that all things like coffee and condiments are provided so you don't spend the morning going to the store. Host lives close by and is very responsive to anything you might need. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it was a fantastic weekend retreat.
We had a great stay at the cabin, it’s exactly what we expected it to be by the listing and David was super friendly and accommodating.
The kitchen is well stocked with spices, what a great surprise for 2 people that love to cook.
Highly recommend this place!
This place was amazing! The cabin felt homey and so beautiful! David was very nice. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. They had everything you need to live there. I almost cried when I had to leave. Nice cabin in the woods. I want to go back!!
We had a wonderful week here after dropping our 3 children off at camp nearby. We decided to eat most of our meals in the cabin and were able to easily do an Ingles market pickup order prior to coming. The area was serene and peaceful throughout the entire week and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.
My mom, sister, and I stayed several days for a Mother’s Day trip. It’s a beautiful place, and we all slept great in the comfortable beds. Love the hot tub. Definitely recommend!
David made everything super easy. We really enjoyed cooking on the grill when we had friends and family over for dinner. Enjoyed the fire pit as well. The mini hot tub works great and was perfectly clean. It was so much better than a hotel room for our 8 day vacation.
Me and my family were in town for a wedding. Dave was able to accommodate our energy filled family in every way. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and the upstairs bunk was such a hit. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The day we were supposed to head out we woke up to a beautiful dusting of snow on the ground. The kids were so excited. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind if we are in the area again. Thanks for a great experience!
Cozy cabin has room for my husband and our two adult children. Comfortable with wood stove inside for ambiance, dishwasher and open kitchen/living room and outdoor amenities such as hot tub, deck and woodsy fire pit. Served as a great base camp for visiting Asheville and surrounding areas.
The cabin is so beautifully decorated and very clean. Well stocked, comfy beds and very quiet. We had such a good time there. SO glad that we didn't stay in the city! David was an exceptional host - even came to rescue us when we couldn't find the cabin! WE'LL BE BACK!!!!

West Asheville privacy
It is a pleasure to come home to a cabin in the woods. Although we didn’t have time to use it, there was a hot tub and fire pit in the backyard. No one can see you in this very private location.
This cabin was perfect! The property was quiet, clean, and private. David was really kind and helpful. The drive up was a little tricky but the directions David provided helped a lot!
Cabin was new, immaculate, and comfortable. My daughter picked the guest room with the Ms. Pacman arcade. It was a bit hard to find, but well worth the effort. Check in and Check out rules simple and easy to follow. Closer to Asheville than I thought. Enjoyed very much!
Overall, this property was very nice. It has everything you need and more. We were there just for the weekend and it was perfect. Definitely follow the directions when trying to find the cabin....GPS will not take you there.
Everything went well. Property owner was outstanding
A wreck took out a power pole and we were without power for about 6 hours. The property owner delivered and hooked up a generator so we had power. Even brought us some home grown vegetables from his garden for dinner. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend.
We love, love, love this cabin! Using Dave's directions, it was really easy to find. We were so impressed with the welcome and service Dave provided during our stay (which included a snow storm!). We felt so at home, and could not get enough of the hot tub. The internet is really fast, which made working during the week a breeze. It was super secluded, but not far away from all the amenities we needed. We'll definitely be back!!
Exactly as described. Just far enough away to relax yet close enough to explore what Asheville has to offer. David was great and attentive but also gave us our space. Would absolutely recommend this to friends.
Nice relaxing property. A little difficult to find but all in all we had a great time

About the host
Hosted by David
I moved here over 25 years ago from upstate New York. I've witnessed Asheville grow up from a sleepy mountain town to the Beer Mecca it is today but I still enjoy country living. Just ask and I'll let you know where to get the best brews in town!
