We visited Galena for a wedding and our 5-Star Weekend owes us nothing! From beginning to end the Hosts were responsive the home exceeded our expectations it was welcoming, clean and accommodating for all 10 guests. We had access to their beautiful Country Club with a pool and other amenities. We ate lunch upon arrival at the restaurant which overlooks the Golf Course. We will go again-Thank yo to our wonderful Hosts, if we had more stars to give just know you deserve them

My Hawkeye buddies and I stay in the Territories each year and play an Eagle Ridge course and other area courses over the 3-day weekend and this house proved to be a fantastic stay. The location was perfect as were the bedrooms, the kitchen, the main living area, and especially the screened-in porch. We didn’t spend much time in the downstairs/basement area due to there not being a TV (Open Championship weekend), but it seemed like a very inviting (and cool) space with a pool table, card table, and couches. Our host was very accommodating as well. We would stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

Awesome Stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-maintained getaway!

Absolutely Wonderful

Amazing, spacious house in a wonderful location. Very well kept and a wonderful open layout. Owners answered all questions and were great to work with. I would highly recommend this place for a family/friends getaway

The property was beautiful! The house was very spacious and worked perfectly for our stay. The only thing that would have made it spot on was if there was two bedrooms on the main floor (for both sets of our elderly parents)

5/5 Stars - Absolutely Perfect for Large Families!This rental property was even better than expected! The house has a well-thought-out layout that works wonderfully for large families. Each room was perfectly set up, including options with a king or queen bed plus a twin bed that was ideal for our toddler. The hosts even provided two cribs for us to use, which made traveling with little ones so much easier.The kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking supply we could possibly need. We also loved having so many options for dining and hanging out—whether it was at the kitchen counter, the dining table, the screened-in porch, or the beautiful outdoor area.To top it all off, the communication was incredible. Elizabeth answered all of my questions within minutes! We absolutely loved the house and its layout. Well done to the hosts—we highly recommend this property!

Great house and location for large group

We booked this house for a friends and family golf trip. The location is close to the main entrance to The Galena Territory. It's very easy to get to from Route 20 which also makes it simple to visit downtown. The house is incredibly spacious and everyone loved having their own bathrooms. The firepit table and comfy outdoor furniture was a favorite gathering spot. We've been renting different homes in Galena for 20 years, and this was one of our favorites.

This home was spacious for our family of 12. It was nicely equipped with pots, pans, folding chairs for extra seating, beach towels, games and children items. Having access to the homeowner’s clubhouse was an additional benefit. Unfortunately we did not have access to the garage spaces.

This is a terrific house, especially for a large group. There are five legit bedrooms with their own baths. There are two primary suites, including a very large private one on its own floor. The main floor is a terrific space to spend time with both indoor and outdoor (screened) tables, and a large deck. This is close to the entrance of the Territory, which means you're only a few minutes from the general store (Starbucks, ice cream, etc.) and you can get to town very quickly as well. Our kids had fun at the community pool (outdoor and indoor). The owners are very communicative and helpful as can be! I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Galena area!
