Big sandy beachcomber was a great stay, it was a nice space with a large fenced in yard for the dogs, and a grill and sitting area. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had. Tons of board games on site and the options to sign into any subscriptions you have on the TVs.

Liked: Communication, listing accuracy
This house needs a lot of work. Plywood bathroom door with holes and damaged bottom. Heating system is marginal. Main bathroom has no towel racks or shelves. Hot water is only warm. Mini blinds are broken. At least one window is broken. No heat in dining area. Inadequate number of dishes for a 4 bedroom. Main lock is installed backwards so need to lock to unlock and unlock to lock. Entrance stairs are unsafe. Overpriced for the condition.
We were very pleased with our stay. The house had everything we need and was very clean. Communication with Brett was great, very responsive and helpful. The yard with dog fence is perfect for people who have dogs and there’s plenty of room in the house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We will be back.
The accommodation was perfect for our size group and close to all the attractions and events we were interested in. Brett, the owner, was an outstanding and attentive communicator, and provided updates routinely on our questions. He even allowed us an early check in time!
A great space for families with dogs. The fenced in yard was super convenient. The space had plenty of room and it was very comfortable. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue for our stay, but Brett was super responsive and came out immediately to resolve the issues we discovered. His reponsiveness, friendliness, and desire to make things right really made all the difference for us. It definitely would have been nice to have the listing make clear that the house was attached to an occupied residence as we felt bad that our dogs or child could potentially disturb the folks that live downstairs. Part of the reason we booked a VRBO vs a hotel was to not have to worry about disturbing other guests. In the end we had a good stay and Brett was a fantastic host.
