The Beehive - A charming cottage in the Perry District
This charming little cottage has been affectionately named "The Beehive," and you guessed it ... the theme of the décor throughout is based on our little honey-making friends, the bees! I have poured my heart and soul into making this home the kind of place that promotes peace and relaxation.
If you appreciate the tranquility of a quiet neighborhood full of friendly folks, and would like a conveniently-located home all to yourself, then buzz on in, I'd love to meet you!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Bee Hive. Owners thought of every detail! Clean, cute, comfortable and cozy place reflecting beautifully in the online photos. Backyard gazebo was a quiet place to relax. Friendly neighbors, quick access to the freeway, airport and downtown. We will definitely return!
This charming cottage was so clean and lovely to stay in! From the heated toilet seat to snacks on the kitchen counter and the personalized welcome sign with all our names (including our dogs) we loved our stay here and highly recommend “The Beehive!”
We just love the Beehive. This was our second stay here. And Amanda and Randy do a fantastic job setting it up for travelers and guests. It is so welcoming, clean and tidy with fabulous features. We’ll be back!
Location is great. House is perfect for our little family with our puppy. Great yard for him to rome and house has all you need for cooking and storing food. Would stay here again.
I brought my daughter out to Spokane so she could attend an introduction and tour of the Gonzaga University campus. The little house was perfect for our visit being both close to the campus and convenient to grocery stores. The interior decoration and amenities made us feel very welcome and comfortable and we slept well, situated as we were, in a nice quiet neighborhood.
The Bee Hive was a warm and welcoming home. It was very clean and well appointed. The owners/managers gave a lot of thought to details that made our staff comfortable and convenient.
The photos are an accurate representation of the adorable cottage. It has a beautiful back yard with covered outdoor seating that made it great if you have a pup to bring along.
My sister, mother and myself stayed at the Beehive while visiting Spokane for the Farm Chicks show for my moms 70th bday. The cottage was very well stocked and every detail was thought about. It's in a great location, to be able to walk to the restaurants of the Perry district in about 10 minutes, as well as drive to other parts of Spokane quickly. The neighborhood is cute and the backyard is amazing to kick back and relax :) Would definitely stay here again!

House was recently remodeled and very clean. Great accommodations!
House was very well laid out and perfect for our family of three and two dogs. I had a couple of questions while we were there and sent the owner an email and she promptly responded. She had even left some munchies and breakfast goods for us. Overall it was a great experience and very cost effective!
We were coming to Spokane after several years away and found this one of the best parts of our visit. Ideally situated, we could walk a few blocks to favorite restaurants in Perry District. When we felt like staying in, we had a fully furnished kitchen to work with. The backyard is perfect for sitting out and enjoying a summer day. And finally the beds were super comfy. Five stars ⭐️!
This is the cutest house, perfect for a small family to feel like they’re in a home away from home while in Spokane. The owners are incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful, but you’ll hardly need to contact them because the Beehive has everything you’ll need!
We stayed for an extended 2.5 month visit with our toddler and newborn to be close to family during the pandemic. Amanda and Randy very kindly moved the 2nd bedroom queen bed into the garage so we could set up our crib for our 2 year old to be comfortable during our stay. They really went above and beyond to make our visit perfect.
We really enjoyed the cute bee themed decor, comfy living room and spacious backyard perfect for hosting socially distant gatherings. As a Spokane native, I think the location is perfect. It’s within walking distance to all the food and shops on Perry, close to downtown and minutes away from multiple grocery stores. We also loved walking the couple blocks down to Grant Park to let our daughter and dogs run around. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re here visiting family!
My adult daughter and I stayed at the Beehive so my daughter could attend another of her medical appointments in Spokane. We stayed at the Beehive on previous trips as well. This trip was every bit as nice as the last one.
The house is every bit as nice as one expects from the pictures on Vrbo. There are two nice bedrooms and the house is all on one floor.
The house is nice and clean, the air conditioning was on when we arrived, and after an eight hour car trip it was nice to arrive at such an inviting house. There are many little extra touches such as the bee themed décor, heated toilet seat (for the winter), dog bowls and toys, very comfy lawn furniture outside, etc.
The beds are comfy, the yard is beautiful and fenced in (very nice for our little dog), the kitchen is nice and complete with everything needed to cook meals (even spices), the neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbor we met is very nice. There are even snacks left on the kitchen counter and extra ice in the fridge freezer.
It was very nice to have a couple of days to enjoy in such a nice relaxing environment. Would we stay here again? Already plan to for my daughter's future appointments.
My daughter and I stayed at the Beehive for three days in April, 2022. We chose this home, as it is a favorite, and we come back to it, or its sister property, the Birdhouse, as much as possible for our regular medical visits to Spokane. Both the house and the hosts are a pleasure to deal with.
We brought our little 5 lb dog, Maia. The house is just as friendly and comfortable for her, too. The house is fenced which is nice to keep the furry kids on the property as well as making the yard look nice, especially with all the nice landscaping. It is really a treat to be able to sit out on the comfy lawn furniture on warm days.
This is a house that is much loved and the hosts go the extra mile to have it look homey and have it be as comfortable as possible for their guests. Whether you plan on eating at restaurants, or decide to stay in and cook your meals, you will find everything you need at the Beehive. One of the major plusses for Lauren and I is that we can cook and heat up our food with all the bells and whistles needed as we have at our own house. Everything is nice and clean too!
The beds are comfy. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we feel quite safe being two ladies traveling on our own. There have been some pretty cold days over the last few months we have come to Spokane and the furnace system keeps us quite comfortable which has sometimes been an issue in some older houses we have stayed at. But not at the Beehive with all its nice updates.
Will we be back? Most definitely. :)
Its was an amazing little house, in the perfect neighborhood for exploring Spokane for a few day, and the yard was perfect for our smalls dogs. We walked around the neighborhood and it felt super safe too.I love the bee theme, so cute!
We had a wonderful stay, love the theme and well appointed beehive cottage. Beautiful and cozy! Backyard was an added bonus and a real gem. Will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Spokane. Excellent communication with the hosts!
I stayed here on a quick trip to Spokane. The house was exactly as described. I was only sad. I didn’t get to use the backyard, which is lovely. I would definitely stay here again, in fact it was so nice. I had told my sister and she has now booked a stay. I would definitely recommend it.
This was a perfect choice. We needed a quiet, dog friendly and central location and got way more. The yard is awesome and outdoor space perfect. Fun atmosphere and theme. The owners have a great thing going here.
Set in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, this cottage had all we needed to relax on our vacation in Spokane. It was well stocked with everything you'd expect. The back yard is very nice and a great place to hangout when the weather allows. This will be at the top of our list the next time we are headed to Spokane!
We came to Spokane for our granddaughters state basketball tournament and this was the perfect location. Central to all of the venues, the house is very well kept decorated beautifully and so cozy. I wish we would have had more time so we could have enjoyed the backyard. The host was very responsive to any questions I had even before we rented the property. If our granddaughter makes it to state again we will for sure be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Vince & Karen
