On the River A-Frame. Cozy 4 season river, lake and ski retreat.

Our Waterbury VT A-Frame sits on the Little River at the doorstep to Waterbury Reservoir and Little River State Park. 25min to BTV airport, Stowe, Sugarbush.

On the River is a place to recharge and explore, 4 seasons. We look forward to sharing an authentic VT cozy cabin experience with you.

Enjoy the ski areas, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, paddling, breweries, farmers markets, and Ben & Jerry’s while you’re here in Waterbury.

The a-frame is three floors with a ladder accessed loft and sits on 2 acres of land that features gardens, meadow and path down to the river.

On the River is solar powered + electric.

The property sits in the perfect location, 25 min from Burlington International Airport, 25 min to Stowe, Sugarbush, and Bolton Valley Resorts. Just a short drive or walk down from the lake, Waterbury Reservoir, and the hiking and biking at Little River State Park. Ski out the door along our private river path. The Little River is the perfect spot for fishing as it’s cold water is fed from the Reservoir dam release. Enjoy the wildflowers and wildlife in the meadow. There are outdoor toys and sleds for the kids.

Inside the house you’ll find lots of cozy blankets, games, maps, books, and local Vermont cabin things.

Cabin In The Woods

We absolutely love the little cabin in the woods! This was our second stay this year and have loved it each time. The cabin is cozy, clean and inviting. The property, on the inside and out, has everything you will need for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. This is our new go to spot for all of our VT vacations, no matter the time of year!
