The property is minutes from Grayson Highlands State Park and all its attractions, 2 mi. to the entrance. (Park pass available during stay)

This one-of-a-kind arched glamping pod offers a cozy retreat with modern comforts. Inside, you'll find a queen bed, futon couch, and a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and cooktop. The cabin also has a full bathroom with a shower and toilet for your convenience.

Step outside to enjoy the cozy porch, charcoal grill, hammock, and firepit, all while listening to the peaceful sounds of the creek that runs in front of and beside the cabin.

Our 10-acre property has high-speed wireless internet, making it perfect for remote work. There are four other cabins available for rent, ideal for group getaways.

Direct access to Grayson Highlands State Park – A private trailhead across the river follows Wilson Creek, leading to cascading waterfalls less than half a mile up the trail.

Community Arcade – Located next to Rumple’s Retreat, featuring four free-to-play multi-cades, a claw machine, karaoke, darts, a retro jukebox, and an air hockey table. (Bring quarters!)

We had a great trip. Charcoal grill and fire pit in the little back area gravel space. It was cold the first night, I recommend bringing a small space heater or extra blanket, but the heater kept up fine the second night. Great stay! Cute and cozy place to relax.

Everything was near perfect! Great clean lodging. Quiet. Beautiful views. Minutes away from Grayson Highlands. I would love to stay here again soon. The only minus was that the arcade was underwhelming.

Tiny cabin at the bottom of a big mountain

This was an awesome little cabin right at the base of Mt. Rodgers. The cabin was super clean and exactly what I needed for this short trip. I would have loved to stay longer to explore the property more but was only here for a short one-night stay this time, so I did not get to check out the trials on property. The cabin is only about 10 minutes from Grayson Highlands State Park and the Mt. Rodgers Natural area, so there is lots to do and is very close to some of the best hiking in the area. Would definitely stay at the Ridgetop Cabin and Highland Hideaways again.

Perfectly located to Grayson Highlands State Park. The VERY steep gravel driveway was expertly maintained and my Ford Escape had no trouble making it up and down. The guests in the lower cabin did block the driveway the first night but kindly moved their truck when asked. Not much area to walk the dog to potty that isn't gravel covered. Cabin was clean/tidy and basic, which is what I was looking for. Signage indicated pets not allowed on furniture which is understandable however, I would have loved to know that information ahead of time because I would have brought a bed and bedding for her since the cabin is INCREDIBLY drafty. Drafty to the point that her water bowl (inside) by the door was beginning to freeze. I ended up closing the bathroom doors and packing pillows at the base of the front door to conserve heat. The draft from the bathroom window and the front door were strong enough to blow the curtains. Brr! But with the heating unit set to 80 and blowing full blast, the bed area stayed warm and cozy. Lovely little spot and would stay again (but probably not in the winter.)
