Stone House on the Riva in Kastel Novi

Beautiful waterfront stone house in traditional Dalmatian style with modern interior and equipment and a view of Adriatic Sea from all floors. In Kastel Novi you are only 20 km from Split on one side and 5 km from Trogir on the other. Both cities have frequent public bus service that stop about 200 m away.
Public parking (pay per use) can be found all around the property.

The house features three levels with an open concept model. A functional and well-equiped kitchen, bathroom with a shower, and living room/dining room are situated on the ground floor. On the second level is one bedroom with a double bed and a half-bath. The terrace is accessible from the second level. Another bedroom is on the third level, with one double bed, and one single bed.

The house is located on the "Riva", 6m meters from the sea, five minutes walk to the beautiful beaches, next to shops and restaurants. Internet is available.

The house is located next door to the renowned local restaurant Konoba Intrada.

Objekt wie beschrieben Sehr schöner Ausblick auf das Meer Alles vorhanden, was man in einem Ferienhaus braucht Abends ist es etwas lebhaft auf der Promenade, auch etwas Lärm durch die Flughafennähe, aber mit geschlossenem Fenster kann man gut schlafen, es gibt ja eine Klimaanlage Leider gibt es keinen Parkplatz am Haus, manchmal ist die Suche danach etwas anstrengend. Es ist ein idealer Startpunkt für Ausflüge, gute Nähe nach Trogir und Split

Gemischt- tolle Aussicht helle Räume - keine Aussicht und dunkle Räume

Gute Lage zwischen Split und Togir. Die Wohnung wurde schön umgebaut und eingerichtet. Die super tolle Aussicht am Meer geniesst man von den Schlafzimmer in der 1.und 2. Etage. Das Wohnzimmer im EG ist direkt an der Strasse, und desshalb lässt sich der Rollladen dort leider nicht öffnen. Auch die Küche im EG hat wenig Tageslicht. Falls man gerne in der Wohnung Kaffee trinkt sollte man etwas zum zubereiten mitbringen. Morgens ist es schön ruhig wenn nebenan nicht gerade weitergebaut wird. Abends ist meist einiges los im Restaurant und auf der Promenade.

I am a university professor who has lived and worked on the east coast of Canada since emirgrating from the former Yugoslavia in 1993, during the war. The town of Kasteli and the coast of Dalmatia is connected to my family roots going back at least two generations.

Why they chose this property

For over a decade, this house has been a home away from home for me, my husband and our three children. We love the house, its 400 year old history, the community it is surrounded by, and the proximity to the Adriatic. Almost every summer we spend some of our time there, and when we are not there, we open the house to guests. Guests are welcome to live as we do and share household items.

What makes this property unique

The house provides the best of both worlds: located in one of the seven villages that comprise the Kastela Grad municipality, it provides easy proximity to beaches, shops and transportation that connects it to other parts of the coast, without the crowds and noise of a larger tourist destination, such as Split or Trogir. The home is part of a living, local community, and staying there means that guests will spend time among people who live there all year round, including being able to see small fishing boats leaving the pier early in the morning each day.
