Villa Tortuga, Isabela PR…Come stay in paradise!

Fantastic beach bungalow located in a tiny complex of only 5 units. Modern design with high ceiling, polished concrete floor, spacious bathrooms, plus watcher and dryer. Large master suite with queen sized bed has its own bathroom. Second bedroom also has a queen sized bed. Kitchen is fully equiped, living room has large sectional sofa, smart TV, cable, and WIFI. House has a central A/C, or just open up the two sets of French doors onto the patio and let in the fresh ocean breeze. Large patio, great for hanging out with a view to the west perfect for sunset-watching.
The beach right in front of the bungalow is beautiful, and great for hanging out. It is not always suitable for swimming, and conditions can vary from day to day. While the beach itself is sandy, there is a lot of reef in the water which makes swimming difficult. There is almost always a tidepool next to this beach which is suitable for bathing and for children. Also, Jobos beach, which is sandy and usually good for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing, is only a 10 minute walk or 1 minute drive away. Shack's beach, which is less populated and features some of the best snorkeling in the whole area, is about 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive. Great area that is surfing/outdoors oriented, and full of friendly people. Lots of variety in bars and restaurants. At least 9 restaurants/bars are located within 1 mile either direction from the bungalow, with several of them within easy walking distance. The Aguadilla Airport (BQN) is a 10 minute drive. Renting a car is the ideal way if getting around, however there are plenty of places within walking distance. Great location that is close to everything, yet also features privacy and peace and quiet. Walking distance to convenience stores, restaurants and bars, plus a short drive away from other great restaurants, grocery store, fabulous beaches, and activities. Guests have two parking spaces inside the gated area. Relax and enjoy on our lovely bungalow!

Clean Comfort in Paradise

Isabela Sanctuary

Villa Tortuga was an unforgettable sanctuary in the beautiful Isabela. It was immaculately clean, well-stocked with all the basics including beach gear, and so thoughtfully designed. I stayed here with my husband and toddler and it truly felt like home. We spent hours on the wonderful patio talking and eating, walked to the beach every morning, and enjoyed the wonderful local businesses and beautiful nature. Ana Ivonne was so kind and helpful, but not intrusive. Villa Tortuga is a very special place that I would recommend to anyone.

From day one the best stay I have ever had. Ivonne (owner) was always available but not intrusive. We will definitely stay here again if back to this area. Clean, well maintained and all essentials needed was here in paradise.

Beautiful home and beautiful beach! Owner was fantastic to work with. Highly recommend this as a vacation home. Beach is rocky, so swimming is not a possibility. You have to go up to Jobos Beach.

A nice place just steps from the beach

Villa Tortuga appeared to have been completely renovated/updated after Maria, so everything had the appearance of being new. Ivonne has done a very nice job with the landscaping, and the inside was nice as well. It was clean and nice and equipped with the basic amenities. It looked like it was probably the nicest bungalow of the 5, although we didn't go inside the others. Although the dune separating the bungalow from the beach prevents you from seeing the ocean while sitting on the patio, it was very windy almost the whole time we were in Isabela and the dune provided a good wind break. We walked up on the dune one afternoon (about a 30 second walk) and saw a couple of young humpback whales frolicking about 200 or 300 yards out; they breached several times. That was the only whale sighting we have had in Puerto Rico and it really made our day. We would return to Villa Tortuga.

La propiedad está localizada en las dunas de Isabela. La decoración y el mantenimiento de la misma es excelente. La dueña estuvo en comunicación via mensajes de texto y teléfono con nosotros poniéndose a nuestra disposición para cualquier necesidad. La encargada de la propiedad fue muy amable durante el "check in" y el "check out". Aunque la playa que está al lado de la propiedad no es para nadar, estar sentado en la orilla, disfrutar de la vista y buscar caracoles fue suficiente. La caminata hacia Jobos toma alrededor de 10 a 15 minutos. Allí se puede entrar al mar a nadar, pero durante el verano es bastante concurrida. La propiedad provee asientos de playa, sombrilla y neverita. Hay juegos de mesa también y juguetes para la arena, por si uno va con niños. La experiencia fue fantástica. Era justo lo que necesitábamos para desconectarnos de San Juan. ¡Muchas gracias!

Incredible villa
