Best place to stay for any celebration or vacation!

We had never been to AZ before and had family travel from the east coast to come stay for a mini-cation, this home was the most amazing place to stay! We had so much fun with all of the activities and the pool outside, we are already trying to plan a trip back! Such a home-y vibe and the owners were so communicative and helpful, would rate more than 5 stars if i could

It was perfect!

The house was a perfect set up for our family time together. We had age ranges from 2 to 85 and we had a blast. Something for everyone to have fun on property and it's convenient to many things. We will come back for sure!

Great Place for a Family Vacation

We rented the house for a 10 day vacation with our kids and grandkids, 8 adults and a 7 and 4 year old. Everything about the place was perfect. Very well stocked with everything we needed, lots of space. Pool and hot tub were a hit as well as the game room. Plenty of places to sit outside. Firepit was nice too. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again if visiting the Phoenix area.

Nice Home But Property Manager Was Frustrating

The house and everything was fine but the property managers acted like we burned their house to the ground because we did not do laundry or take out the trash before we left. It seems like they expected us to have a house cleaner in before we even left. Place was nice but property manager was very frustrating and was asking us for hundreds of more dollars for “extra” cleaning fees.

This guest booked our property as if he was staying there, which he never intended to do (against VRBO policy) and he listed 10 guests on his reservation. There were at least 17 if not 18 men who were staying at the property which has a clearly stated max of 14. Our checkout time is 10am and at noon we had to call the renter as only a few of his guests had left and the remainder were still having food services delivered to the property, clearly with no intentions of leaving the property anytime soon. When our cleaners arrived they were met with a complete disaster. There were 3 full sets of stained sheets and a duvet cover, 9 stained towels with a huge pile of stained towels on top of an ironing board in the garage, stains on a brand new shower curtain, house decorations broken and laying under the couch, holes in our brand new pool table felt top and stains on a couch among other things. Everything in this house was brand new prior to these guests who were the very first in this new listing. It took our cleaners over 10 hours to clean up most of their mess and we spend a half day doing more of their laundry after our cleaners were done. They did over $1000 in damage to our property and his purchased insurance policy did not cover the additional cleaning fees. We billed the extra cleaning fees to him weeks ago and of course they were not paid and he instead chose to leave this poor review of us now almost 2 months after his reservation.

Absolutely heavenly stay at The Milky Way Chalet!Our team had a truly fantastic experience at The Milky Way Chalet. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how immaculate, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean the property was. It felt like a true home away from home, but with the added bonus of endless activities that kept our team of teenage girls thoroughly entertained.The location was ideal – perfectly situated in a quiet, beautiful, and easily accessible area. It offered a serene escape while still being convenient for everything we needed.The chalet itself was incredibly well-stocked, exceeding all our expectations with every amenity imaginable. It truly had beyond everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient.Last but certainly not least, our host was an absolute gem! They were the kindest and most responsive host we've ever encountered, always there to assist with any and all of our needs, making our stay completely stress-free.We give The Milky Way Chalet our highest possible recommendation. Mahalo nui loa for providing the most amazing experience and creating such wonderful memories for our team! With Aloha Always!
