Wonderful Thanksgiving!

This property was perfect for our family holiday! Well stocked kitchens, plenty of space for everyone but still cozy and we were able to bring our dogs too. Close to the beach and all things Tybee, able to walk to just about everything. Would most definitely stay here again.

Anniversary trip

We come to the island every year for our anniversary, and have yet to ha e a bad experience. We've been coming for 10 years. This was one of our favorite properties in our time coming. It had plenty of room for everyone, was right by the beach and stores.

Best Vacation Ever!

My family (hubby, children, spouses and grands) go on a vacation every summer together. We've been to several places together. This year we decided to be nostalgic and go to Tybee because we used to go there with my parents when my children were small. The island and the house did not disappoint!! There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids could play without bothering the adults. The shaded, fenced backyard made it so much fun for the kids to go outside and play when we were not at the beach. It was a short walk to the beach as well as all the shops, restaurants and attractions that Tybee has to offer. We will definitely be going back!! The check in and out process was seamless. This company has a GREAT system!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Lots of Space and Convenient Location

We liked the large space and big beds. The upstairs unit is particularly nice whereas the downstairs is a bit more ordinary. There's an interconnecting staircase that can be used without going fully outdoors. Unfortunately, that staircase had gross, musty carpeting that led us to avoid it altogether. The kitchens were rather ordinary but serviceable. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. There was a mix of newer smart TVs and older standard ones (which were in the more prominent locations). The Wi-Fi service worked fine. The grocery store and several dining options are within walking distance. Be advised that even casual restaurants take reservations since they fill up at peak times. The beach at the end of the street was definitely worth the trip!

Home away from Home

OMG I walked in to this place and just said..."Oh wow" The house is awesome with nice size bedrooms and a huge bathroom on bottom floor! It was absolutely PERFECT for our family of 13 people.It was very quiet at night and so peaceful I absolutely slept great while there. So much room and it is bigger than you think. The fenced in back yard was a plus for my niece and her 3 year old daughter and the picnic table on back patio is huge! My brother has already said he is coming back to Tybee Island next year and he wants this house again. It is well taken care of and I highly recommend this home if your visiting there. Oh and there were large sand dollars on shelves with different people's names and dates on them that have rented the home that was really cool. We got one ourselves and we all signed one to add to the collection. The beach was a block away which made it nice to go as often as you wanted...Many thumbs up to this place, I am so glad we decided on this one and the price is great! Happy from Aurora ,Indiana

Not what I was expecting

Tybee beach rental was a good host but the property was not what I expected. Very outdated furniture. We rented both upper & lower level & the stairwell in between was terrible... I don't think the carpet has ever been cleaned ( sticky, wear shoes) the ping pong table had no balls & net was held together with zip ties. For the price I thought I would at least be able to see water but no view at all. It does have fenced in yard which was convenient for my puppies. The mattresses were very comfortable ( in upstairs unit ) also had an outdoor shower that was nice. If you get the bottom level you have good place to store all your beach gear( screened in porch) I would consider staying again but not use Vrbo, ( with their fee it's not worth the price) if you book through Tybee Beach Remtals slot cheaper... They also have extremely polite & attentive employees..

End of Year Trip

Checking in and out was very easy. Great beach access. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Any issues were handled quickly by the property manager. Enough space for 5 adults and 12 girls.

Great place for my family to stay!

Rooms were amazingly large rooms. There were 5 kids 2-9 years old, and 7 adults, & we enjoyed the stay. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, sheets, pillows, & towels in the house. There are a lot of TVs but who needs that many when your a fast walk to the beach. The outdoor shower helped us keep the house sand free more then you’d think. The IGA is a 4 minute walk & there was an amazing taco place Chamacos Taco & Surf within a block of the house. The area was very safe, well lite, and the parking passes were a life saver. On another note we were able to see lifeguards, police, firefighters, and an ambulance crew in action and they were amazingly fast at trying to save a life of someone I’m sure was visiting the beautiful island. A thankless job these day and they were working hard. Thank you for protecting and serving your beautiful Island & it’s visitors. Thank you to Tybee Island Vacation Rentals and your staff our family vacation was amazing! See you again sooner then later.

Spring Break Get Away

Great location but on a busy street. House is setup as 2 units in one. The grandchildren stayed down stairs with their parents allowing adults more options to socialize within the unit at night.

We had a great time

The house needs to be updated real bad, a very old house.

Now, I know I can't trust the displayed pictures. The house is very old, all the ceilings are cracked. One of the bedroom's door frame has a long crack, some chipped bowls, the pillows' cases were ripped, burned pots/pants, one of the tv didn't work due to the old comcast box, one of the stove top didn't work, and dirty utensils. Also, the floor in the stand alone bath should have added a hand rail for safety because the ceramic/marble floor is very slippery when it wets. All the exteriors of the sofas were worn out. I wasn't aware of this house is this old when I booked it, the owner needs to upgrade this house if they want to continue renting it out. Otherwise, I definitely NOT going to rent it again. Thanks to the property management for doing a fantastic job responding back to my concerns.

Nice place, not the best we've had in Tybee, but nice.

Not nearly as clean or well kept as other places we have stayed in Tybee. Just felt a bit run down. Location was close to the beach, but Butler street can be pretty loud late into the evening. Had plenty of room for our 9 adults. We rented the whole house, so it was nice to have both kitchens, primarily to store all our refrigerated food. Plenty of places to lounge, find a quiet place to chill.
