Longer term stays welcome. You may qualify for special rates.
There are many plants and trees in the backyard and neighbors'. When weather changes, you may see insects around. Keep door shut and put away/seal up food items. We treat the building for pest control seasonally.

By booking a reservation, Guests agree to our House Rules.
Upon booking, all Guests (including those accompanying the person who booked the reservation) need to provide a copy of government-issued ID as verification for safety, insurance, & local regulation compliance. Similar to standard practice for traditional lodging businesses.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A standard credit card pre-authorization of $1,000 is held on your arrival date and voided on 7 days after departure. Alternatively, Guests may choose to participate in the Damage Waiver, which releases Guests from liability for accidental property damage/excessive cleaning. Damage Waiver protection provides coverage for up to $2,000 damage to real or personal property of the rental as a result of the Guest(s)' acts or omissions. Coverage begins at check-in, and coverage ends 15 days following check-out per the Guest(s)' reservation.
In lieu of a $1,000 security hold authorized on a credit card, Damage Waiver cost is $39 for 1-2 night stays, plus $9/each additional night.

We needed a convenient spot to lay our heads while visiting family in the Pocket-Greenhaven area. The Red Door Suite was perfect! Quiet and cozy. Bigger than I expected and lots of nice little touches from the host (lovely coffee bar).

Host profile image
I'm a California native. Previously lived in Portland, Ann Arbor, Washington DC. I enjoy providing a convenient and comfortable accommodations for out of town visitors. I love eating and growing fresh fruit!

Why they chose this property

We're located next to Seymore Park, a long serene greenbelt space where people jog and walk dogs. Just a couple blocks away (5 min walk) to: a nice grocery store/deli, Starbucks, a few easy casual food spots/Big 5 Sporting Goods/more (checkout our local Guidebook).

Calm suburban residential neighborhood. Family-oriented. The Pocket-Greenhaven is where the Sacramento River forms a pocket-shaped curve just 5 miles south of Downtown. Somewhat secluded from Midtown noise. Quick and easy to get to the city center, and local attractions. Pretty quiet and peaceful here. People enjoy walking in the many parks and along the canal and river. One of the most diverse neighborhoods in Sacramento. Houses built mostly in 1980-90s.

What makes this property unique

Located close to your relatives and friends. Safe and quiet, no traffic, inconspicuous neighborhood!
