About this property
Movie Theater Retreat With Pickleball Court
The Space:
Fair warning: you may have a hard time getting everyone to leave the house. This spacious five-bedroom Post Falls getaway sleeps up to 14 guests and was designed for families who want to spend time together—and have a ridiculous amount of fun doing it. With a private pickleball court, movie theater, pool table, game room, ice cream and slushy maker, rooftop deck, fenced backyard, and BBQ, the house isn’t just where you sleep after the fun. The house is the fun.
Start the morning with coffee on the rooftop deck, then get a family pickleball tournament going before lunch. Play pool while dinner cooks, challenge someone to ping-pong or darts, and let the kids choose a board game. After dinner, make ice cream or slushies, grab some blankets, and settle in for a movie. Or do everything in the opposite order—you’re on vacation.
The main floor is the heart of the home, with a huge living room where the whole family can gather without feeling crowded. You’ll also find the full kitchen and dining area, a pool table, and a queen bedroom with its own private full bathroom. The main-floor bedroom is a convenient choice for guests who prefer not to make frequent trips upstairs, though guests should review the home’s stair information when considering individual accessibility needs.
Upstairs are four additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has its own private bathroom, while the other three bedrooms share a separate full bathroom. This arrangement works especially well for multiple families, couples traveling together, and multi-generational groups who want to stay under one roof while still having some privacy.
The basement is the entertainment zone. It includes the movie theater, a game room with ping-pong and darts, board games, a sleeper sofa, a half bathroom, and the laundry area. Kids and teenagers can hang out downstairs while the adults relax on the main floor—or the adults can take over the games while the kids wonder when they became the responsible ones. The sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping flexibility, and the nearby half bathroom makes the basement especially convenient.
The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and room to prepare family breakfasts, snacks, and group dinners. Cook together, set out a movie-night snack spread, or order takeout and take full credit for choosing it. The kitchen is also near the pool table, so waiting for dinner is much more entertaining than usual.
Outside, the private pickleball court is ready for casual games, family tournaments, and inevitable rematches. The fully fenced backyard and BBQ make it easy to enjoy dinner at home, while the rooftop deck is a great place for morning coffee, fresh air, and winding down together in the evening. The spiral staircase adds plenty of character, but guests should be comfortable using stairs and children should be supervised.
The home is located in Post Falls near Ponderosa Park, with convenient access to restaurants, grocery stores, parks, shops, and outdoor recreation. Explore Post Falls, visit Coeur d’Alene, enjoy the Spokane River, or spend a day at Silverwood Theme Park. When you return, the fun doesn’t have to stop—you’ll still have movies, games, pickleball, frozen treats, and the rooftop deck waiting for you.
This home is a great fit for family vacations, reunions, multi-generational trips, families visiting loved ones nearby, birthday getaways, Silverwood adventures, Coeur d’Alene trips, and local families looking for a memorable staycation. With five bedrooms, nine beds, three full bathrooms, one half bathroom, a huge living room, and multiple entertainment spaces, there’s plenty of room to gather and plenty of room to spread out.
Guests have private access to the home and its available amenities during their stay. Parking is available in the garage and driveway. Maximum occupancy is 14 guests. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and checkout is by 10:00 AM. The home has multiple levels and a spiral staircase, so guests should be comfortable using stairs. Children should be supervised around the stairs, rooftop areas, recreational equipment, and frozen-treat machines. Because the home is in a residential neighborhood, guests must follow the posted house rules and quiet hours.
There are plenty of vacation rentals that give you a comfortable place to sleep. This one gives your family things to talk about afterward: the pickleball match that got unexpectedly competitive, the strange slushy flavor the kids somehow loved, the surprise pool champion, the movie everyone watched in pajamas, and the rooftop conversations that lasted longer than planned.
Come explore North Idaho, visit family, or take a break close to home. Just don’t be surprised when everyone asks to stay one more night.

We had a fantastic long weekend. We had lots to do, grocery stores nearby for the things we forgot and plenty of space to spread out in the house. The neighborhood was quiet and the elementary school nearby was a short walk away and perfect for the kids. Already planning our next stay.
House was great for large family get-togethers perfect for a baby shower like what we had pool table was fun. We do wish the ping-pong paddles weren’t so in disarray, but the house was perfect for our needs

Thank you, Shelley, for your kind words! We're thrilled the house suited your family gathering so well. We appreciate your feedback about the ping-pong paddles and will work on that. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable stay!
This house was perfect for our family. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our extended family. The house was the perfect space for all 12 of us. We even played some pickleball in the rain.

Beautiful house and very accurate listing. Exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend. Great communication throughout the process, and it was a perfect quiet location for our stay.
Nice, clean, unique house in a quiet family friendly neighborhood, fun activities at the house, and close to everything in town. Our family walked down to the river a couple times as well. Was a great home base for multiple days at Silverwood. Our dog appreciated the grassy back yard and we appreciated the fence.
Exactly what was described and more, there were games, good amenities, I don't want to shoot myself in the foot on a future stay but for what we paid for this house we got so much out of it, an absolutely great deal! The pickle ball court was a huge hit, the pool table was great, the beads were comfortable and everyone had a blast, we ended up spending more time at the house than we planned because it was so great! thank you again!
We were a group of 9, college friends getting together after far too many years to celebrate retirements. The house was perfect for our group, large bedrooms in a perfect layout - 4 bedrooms upstairs, 1 on main. VERY comfortable beds, which is hard to find and greatly appreciated! We played a little pickleball, a little pool and used the open space to just hang out and catch up - appreciated the large table that we could all sit around. We cooked all meals in and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, even had some staple items which is always great! There was plenty of parking since we had 5 cars and was close to everything - we enjoyed a winery, a brewery and my daily Starbucks! We are early risers and the upstairs bedroom folks really enjoyed the top deck off the bedrooms every morning for coffee and visiting, it was lovely. The layout was great for groups, room to be together but also enough bathrooms for comfort and bedrooms to get away to. The neighborhood was quiet and quite lovely. And, check in/out was the smoothest I've had in years with VRBO and I've done 30 nights a year with VRBO for the past 5 years in our retirement. We highly recommend Westwood Estate and would definitely return!
BEST Hide and Seek house ever. The longer we stayed, the better it was! The grandkids loved the property. The pickelball court was amazing, pool table and ping pong tables were in excellent condition. The kitchen had all of the ammenities needed. The many beds and bunkbeds were very clean and comfortable and plenty of very nice linens, blankets, pillows. The proximity to Kiwainis park was amazing and ability to walk to Capones, KFC and other ammenities was great. With that - upon arrival, the backyard was a mess and we had to have our son come blow it off and sweep off the entire courtyard, tables, chairs because of the heavy debris from pinecones and needles, etc. First impression was rough. But there is nature to consider. The oven had been overlooked and was covered in bacon grease. We scraped it and then self-cleaned for a couple of hours which made everything smell horrible, but we worked it out.The living room furniture couches and stools downstairs are in dire need of replacement. They were ripped and we had to cover them with blankets to sit on them. Fun GIGANTIC beanbag that fit all kids on. Beautiful kitchen/family room table. The big playroom tv was never able to be used. The remotes did not work, but the upstairs tv was great. But - on the HAPPY SIDE - We would definitely consider renting again. Those were minor issues after we put the effort in to fix what we could.
