About this property
Stunning 3BR Home w/ Lake access/hot tub
About this space
When you turn into the driveway, you'll know you are somewhere special. The shimmering waters of Lake Champlain, which can be seen from all three stories of this home, beckon you to enter via the private beach. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two sumptuous living rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a deck. There is even a hazelett mooring for your boat. The balcony has a hot tub that is perfectly positioned to watch sunsets. This is the Vermont vacation home for all seasons.
The space
Caveat emptor: this home comes with a lot of stairs that provide impromptu cardio.
1. The third floor has a master suite with a king bed, bathroom, and a balcony that has a hot tub.
2. The second floor is the center of the action with a 70-inch TV, great sunset views, two bedrooms with queen beds, and a bathroom. There are also two desks for those who like to do a little work on vacation. A washer-dryer combo is present for your needs.
3. The first floor living room will blow you away with its view. There is also a fully stocked kitchen on the first floor and a formal dining area. There is a sofa bed as well as a twin day bed in the living room. There's both a front and a back patio.
Other things to note
1. We allow dogs (maximum of 2), but cats are a no-go. It’s not personal; it's just that our dog-friendly decor can’t handle the catitude. Service animals, however, are always welcome
2. There’s a camera pointed at the hot tub, not because we’re spying on your relaxing moments, but because previous guests have left the cover unfastened, and the wind has a habit of turning our covers into flying saucers. So, feel free to UNPLUG the camera during your stay. However, when you check out, please remember to plug the camera back in and secure the cover. There’s an automatic $500 fine if this isn't done. We prefer our hot tub covers to be grounded, not airborne. Enjoy your soak!
3. Feel free to use our charcoal BBQ grill, but please stick to the beach or the gravel patch next to the garage for your grilling adventures. Avoid the front porch (unless you're into impromptu fireworks with a buried propane tank) and the back porch (we like it the way it is). BBQ-ing within 25 feet of the home will result in a $500 fine. Remember, the nearest fire station is 5 miles away, and fire trucks don’t travel any faster on winding country roads. We prefer to keep our sizzling limited to your BBQ, not our house!
4. Living by the lake means being close to nature, and sometimes nature likes to visit inside. While we do our best to keep the bugs at bay, they might still drop by to say hello. We've left some bug spray and traps around to help you deal with any persistent party crashers. There's also a high velocity fan you can use to literally blow them away.
5. If you're planning to use the mooring for your boat, please remember it's at your own risk. We, as your hosts, assume no responsibility for any persons or equipment. So, feel free to anchor your yacht or your inflatable unicorn, but just know we're not liable for any nautical misadventures!
