This property in Oberkampf was the perfect place to stay! It was comfortable and well equipped. Great bakeries, dining, and nightlife in the area and easy access to several metro stations to get anywhere in Paris. The host was very attentive and receptive. Would stay here again.
Great location. Near metro, grocery stores and many restaurants! Very nice host Oliver. Only negative is that one electric socket did not work and the shower had trouble draining. Once these are fixed. I would highly recommend!
It was in a really good location and the block and area felt safe. The host was very accomodating with my check-in requirements. The studio space is as expected - small but was ideal for what I needed. Kitchen had good ammenities and easy to use appliances. And overall it was clean and well kept.
The apartment is cozy, clean and situated by all kinds of restaurants, close to the metro and was easy to find. Olivier was excellent with communication and met us a little early for check in. We would recommend Olivier’s apartment to any solo or couple who need a comfortable place to stay! Merci Olivier!
The studio appears a bit larger in the photos, but it was perfectly adequate for a short stay while living out of a small suitcase. It’s bright, with lovely direct sunlight from the courtyard-facing window—so much so that we never needed to use the heater. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped for preparing simple meals. One small thing to note: there are a few electronic indicator lights on the wall facing the bed that blink at night, so light-sensitive sleepers may want to bring a sleep mask. The location is excellent—easy walking distance to shops, cafés, and other amenities, and very well connected by public transportation. Despite being on a busy street, the double windows keep the apartment pleasantly quiet.Olivier was accommodating and kindly allowed us to check in a bit early, which we appreciated. As for the downsides: having stayed in several budget rentals in Paris, I’m familiar with local standards—but even so, this building feels poorly maintained. There are clear signs of neglect, including ripped hanging wallpaper, cracks, exposed waste pipes and wiring, unrepaired masonry, as examples. While this didn’t affect our stay inside the apartment, it may concern some guests. On a positive note, the courtyard is well cared - the plants are beautiful and add a nice touch to the overall atmosphere
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Oliver's place in the 11th. It's location is fantastic - Velib e-bikes right out front, Oberkampf metro steps away and the République square and metro with many lines is a quick walk. However, we also walked to all major sites from the unit. The unit is clean and for what we paid was an excellent value. It's on the second floor and has newer triple-pane windows on both ends of the apartment. This brings in wonderful natural light and a nice breeze if you want it, but when closed, you can barely hear the street noise. The apartment complex felt very residential, friendly, and safe. There are eateries, boulangeries, markets, cafes close by (or just downstairs) in every direction. The apartment is small, but it is laid out well. The kitchen had everything needed to make snacks and meals. The bed was new, full sized, and comfortable. It's a murphy/wall bed, but we left it down the whole time. TV had cable and Wifi channels (Netflix, etc). The apartment is not perfect, but compared to other listings that were considered in the same price range (and the reviews were read of) here's what the apartment DID NOT have:No mice/ratsNo mold or mildewNo uncomfortable sofa bedNo smells from downstairs restaurantsNo sewage smells in bathroomNo hard to climb in to loft bedNo short attic ceilings that require bending, squatting or kneeling to use a shower or toiletNo open electrical wiresNo noisy bar or nightclub downstairs or across the street
Excelente localización. Cama muy confortable..Aislamiento sonoro idóneo. Cocina muy bien equipada. Muy cercana a red de metro. Gran variedad de comercios en el barrio.
