Quiet and cozy studio in a lovely neighborhood, with groceries and a bus stop within walking distance. I was in town for a conference and enjoyed coming back after a busy day. Host was also super kind, responsive, and helpful. Great stay!

Thank you so much, Anna! It was so reassuring to have such an easy-going and friendly guest staying in the suite while I was not here, and you were truly self-sustaining, so thank you!

The neighborhood was delightful. I walked my dog twice a day and felt perfectly safe. Lots of others out and about too. Loved this location. Very close to my family we were visiting too

I had a great stay in this extra-large, charming, thoughtfully equipped basement apartment in a safe, walkable neighborhood close to locally owned shops and restaurants. Suzanne’s place is a grear example of the neighborhood’s Victorian houses, pretty gardens, and progressive, eco-friendly vibe. She is a super kind host who makes sure her guests are comfortable. Extras like a washer & dryer and fully equipped kitchen make this place good for long term stays. If you’re over 6’ tall be aware that some areas have low ceilings, just watch your head in the corners and you’ll be fine. No central heat but an electric fireplace and 2 space heaters keep it cozy - see the excellent house instruction book for details. There is a window AC and I bet the place is nice and cool in summer. The garden has outdoor spaces set aside for guests and at night colored lights cast a magical glow. Highly recommended for those who enjoy offbeat charm with all the comforts of home.

We were settling our child in the college dorms and proximity was excellent. The studio apartment was well appointed and very clean. Suzanne was warm and inviting, attentive with all of our needs and fast to respond when in need. I am looking at availability in the future because the hosts were welcoming and had great energy!Ron & Ebony

This place was amazing!!! It was beautiful and came with so much. We were so happy with our stay. Suzanne was incredibly lovely and kind- she was always helpful and made sure I was comfortable throughout the trip. If we’re ever back in town, I would 100% book with her again!

About the host

We absolutely love Baltimore, and folks have visited us from all over the country, as well as a few out of country visitors. We are Suzanne & Rev, a couple who loves to travel, find new vegan dining spots, go hiking/camping and go out to discover new-to-us live bands. We’ve got an old pup, Fiona, but she’s pretty quiet.
We’ve been hosting on the other major platform for 6 years now, so feel free to pop over there and check our reviews (4.97/5 stars with over 60 reviews).

Why they chose this property

Beverly Hills is in the city but not downtown, so it’s much quieter, with Herring Run park just a couple blocks away for quiet trails (especially if you bring a dog!), and very close to Morgan State and most hospitals are just 10-15 minutes away.

What makes this property unique

Built in 1929, this house is a quirky old lady but we love her. Here you get a quiet relaxed environment but can be most anywhere in the city in 10-15 minutes. It’s the best of both worlds!
