It was clean and comfortable. We couldn't find the washer and dryer, but maybe we overlooked something. It was a good location very close to all we needed to do while we were there.
We were in town visiting our son and his family who recently moved to Jacksonville. Property was reasonably priced, allowed pets, and had two bathrooms. We were very happy with our stay. It is clean, in a safe neighborhood. Before arriving I reviewed comments from previous guests. We were not expecting extravagant beach front - just a nice, safe comfortable place to stay. Next time were are visiting, we will definitely see if this property is available.

They unrespect for property, the neighborhood, or the neighbors.
The condition in which the property was left is unacceptable and constitutes a total disregard for the rental agreement. Below is a detailed summary of the damages and losses:
1. Severe Biohazard and Sanitation Issues:
• Mattress and Bedding: the mattress is unsalvageable and requires a full replacement for health and safety reasons. All linens and towels were left unusable.
• Unauthorized Smoking: Evidence of smoking was found throughout the house, requiring odor removal.
• Extreme Filth: The kitchen and common areas were left with food and drink spills on floors and furniture.
2. Physical Property Damage:
• Walls: Multiple walls have been stained and required cleaning or repainting.
• Missing Items: One TV remote control is missing from the premises.
3. Policy Violations:
• Unauthorized Gathering: The guests hosted a large, loud party without permission.
Over-occupancy: There were significantly more people on the property than the maximum number stated in the reservation
We used this home as a transition when we sold our home & needed a place to stay before closing on our new home. The owner was quick to respond to questions & attentive to accommodate our needs. Great experience!

My apologies, I was surprised to receive a call at 1:11 am. These are quiet hours.
Had to go buy cleaning products and clean up but overall and for the price I have absolutely no complaints

We really appreciate your feedback. We personally saw the cleaning and thought it was 5 stars, but we'll let them know what they need to improve. Thank you again.
Loved the property and cleaniness was great, only dowfalls not enough blankets, we got 1 wash rag and no kitchen towel and no cups only coffee cups and no trash bags. Only minor stuff but we did have a great stay
Good location. Spacious. 2 car drive way. AC works great. Newer house on the block. Neighborhood was quiet. There is an RV on the back/side of the house that someone lives in. Kinda weird being so close to the house. There is no ice maker. The living room TV has terrible sound. The bath towels provided were very small. They will not wrap around your body. So we bought our own. Host does not want any paper products flushed. INCLUDING TOILET PAPER! Weird. Signs in all bathrooms. Host will tell you this after booking. Listing says there will be laundry facilities and there are not. They are locked in the garage. I asked the host about it and it took almost 24 hours for a response. Apparently they broke with the last guest. Maybe true? Maybe not? If broken, how will they wash everything for the next guest?

Why they chose this property
"Welcome to my neighborhood the heart of vibrant Jacksonville! The scene here is a charming blend of tranquility and active living. From my porch, I love watching the ancient, Spanish moss-draped oak trees sway gently in the breeze, casting cool shadows over the tree-lined streets. It's lovely to see neighbors out walking their dogs in the evening, greeting each other with a smile. The homes, with their varied architectural styles, have that classic Southern charm that makes you feel instantly at home. Mornings here are announced by the sweetest birdsong, and at night, the sky lights up with city lights in the distance, reminding you that you're close to all the action but far enough to enjoy the peace. What I enjoy most about this neighborhood is its genuine sense of community and unbeatable location. I adore being able to take a short stroll to Larkin Street Park, perfect for stretching my legs or just reading under a tree. We have cozy local shops and coffee spots just minutes away, making it easy and pleasant to grab a coffee or last-minute essentials. Plus, the proximity to the St. Johns River is fantastic; I love walking along the banks or watching the boats go by. And if I need a bit more buzz, downtown Jacksonville is just a stone's throw away, offering concerts, restaurants, and events without having to deal with constant hustle and bustle. It's a place where you feel safe and connected, with everything you need right at your fingertips. It truly is a hidden gem!"
What makes this property unique
What truly makes my home stand out is its perfect blend of classic charm and prime location, offering both serene relaxation and immediate access to Jacksonville's best. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel the unique character of this house. It's not a sterile, modern box; it's a home with a soul, evident in its architecture and the mature oak trees that canopy the yard, providing natural shade and a sense of timeless tranquility. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the porch, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the neighborhood, a stark contrast to the bustle you'd find in a dense urban setting. But the real secret sauce is the unbeatable convenience it offers. We're nestled in a quiet, friendly area where you can truly unwind, yet you're just a stone's throw from downtown Jacksonville's vibrant energy. Want to catch a Jaguars game, explore the latest dining spots, or enjoy a riverfront event? You're literally minutes away. Plus, the easy access to major roads means you can quickly get to the beaches, historic St. Augustine, or any of Jacksonville's other attractions without feeling stuck in traffic. It's this rare combination – a peaceful, charming retreat that serves as a fantastic springboard to all of Jacksonville – that truly here you get the best of both worlds here!
