Court House square is only 5 blocks, walking distance of nightlife, restaurants, shopping, and historic sites. Bardstown is the "Heart of Bourbon Country" with Heaven Hill Distillery, Maker's Mark. Jim Beam, Four Roses Distillery and more. New kitchen, smart TV, computer desk, usb charging station , free Wi-fi.

The house is homey with a large living room, dinning room, kitchen, patio, coffee bar and computer desk with charging station, wifi, 40-Inch Smart LED Television , DVD player and 80 DVD movies titles. Will sleep up to 6. The house is charming and comfortable with Hardwood floors. . 1 queen, 1 double, & 1 sofa beds. Park at the door and walk in. My husband and I come here to celebrate our anniversary, we both love whiskey and scotch very much. The house location is close to the distilleries we go. Very sweet and clean home. The host is super nice and makes sure everything goes smoothly for your trip. I will come back to this sweet home for sure.

This was the perfect location for our stay in Bardstown. We have a daughter in a wheelchair so the ramp was very convenient! This was a cute property and decorate nicely for fall- love the details! There were snacks, ice cube trays full of ice, coffee available along with a fully stocked kitchen for your cooking needs. This home was very cozy and worked for us. It was very close to downtown and there was a Walgreens, close by and a Domino's pizza right across the street! Mary was very responsive as well. As soon as we arrived, it was very hot inside the home. After contacting the host we were told the AC was just worked on and about a day the home cooled down so we were good. The beds weren't the most comfortable however suited our needs okay. If you're in need of storage / closet space, there is not much in this home. Most definitely not a huge deal, but if you're one to want to hang up your clothes there was only 1 closet with limited space where one could and there were not many drawers either so my husband and daughter lived out of their suitcases pretty much. Again, we made it work but keep that in mind if you're an unpacker. Overall cute home, close to what you'd need, with kind and responsive hosts.

I grew up in Bardstown, and Orline in Fairfiled (16 miles away) We have 3 grand kids (our youngest is 3 and lives in Portland Organ.)
My wife and I are retired, she was a teacher for 45 years and I was a Camera Shop owner and photographer.

Ron & Orline

Why they chose this property

We raised our 3 kids in this home and than we build a home onto the back of the house (kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with a great room, den, game room, sunroom and deck. I used the house as a portrait studio until 2016 when we remolded. In 2017 we open for guess, an in 2018 we put in a new kitchen.
