We arrived Wednesday and upon entering the home we were greeted with horrible odors of sewer gas coming from the kitchen sink and bathrooms. In addition, the couches and rugs were stained and there is mold in both showers and on shower curtains. There were empty odor absorber containers and empty plug ins in each room which is indicative management knew of the odors. I contacted the host and they replied with an AI generated response. Thursday they messaged they would have someone come over. No one came. I continued to message and got the same AI generated response each time. I called Friday and finally got a person who said they would look into it. Saturday, someone finally came and replaced one shower curtain and nothing else was addressed. Checkout was Sunday. The character of the home was wonderful as we love the architecture and history of historic homes and own one ourselves. Its location however, is in the “ghetto” quoted from both our uber driver and internet salesman that knocked on the door Thursday evening. Lesson learned on photo staging. Had management been helpful in anyway, my review would not be so negative, however, they were terrible. The house itself is very unique!
