Great little secluded retreat. Very easy feel to the place , with a home setting. Top notch amenities, and over the top comfort provided by the owner. Highly recommended for a little get away!

Thanks guys! I so owe you catching that water leak. Could have been way worse.
My friends and I enjoyed our stay here! While it is out of the city, there is another VRBO on the same property and the host lives on the property as well. However, we did still feel as though we had enough privacy. The hot tub was a lovely amenity that we enjoyed every night of our stay! Feeding the koi fish in the pond was also fun. We had a good time watching movies, playing darts, and shooting pool was another favorite activity of ours. The only complaint really is that there's no stove top for cooking. There is an electric cooking pan, but you can only cook one thing at a time. We were able to make it work. We would stay here again in the future!
The rental was extremely spacious and exactly as advertised. Everything was clean, the hot tub was perfect and extremely enjoyable. We would definitely visit again.
Wonderful spot for a quiet getaway! Host is friendly, property is beautiful, and the accommodations comfortable. Will absolutely book again when me and my partner need a getaway.
I stayed 2 nights for a quiet get away with plans to explore Smithville lake. I was blown away by all the amenities this rental offered for such an affordable price. I enjoyed watching the sunset by the koi pond, relaxing in the hot tub and the overall peace and quiet such a remote location offered. Explored the trails around the lake on foot and also on an electric bike the host has available. Played pool and darts and took advantage of all the extras this property offers. I enjoyed my stay tremendously and will definitely be back.

Cool place with a lot of potential
Birthday short getaway close to home. However I think we have different definitions of private and seclusion. The host appears to live above the rental while he was working on the property in the afternoon and introduced himself we could hear him walking around upstairs in evening. The hot tub is right under a window. Not private. Also didn’t notice the kitchen has no stove or oven. Air fryer was there but no pans foil or way to cook anything other than grill on the far side of building. Overall a nice one night stay planned to cook breakfast but went to local diner Captains corner which would recommend.
The place is advertised as private and secluded but it’s not. It’s listed as a house in the advertising but you have a lower apartment. Not a huge deal but it felt like it was misadvertised. The host lives above the apartment (it’s the lower part of a large metal building that you’re renting). Then across the drive way and about 75 more feet is another Vrbo in an old silo, it’s really nice from the looks of it.The silo also advertises as having a hot tub? But there is not one in the picture so I’m not sure if the hot tub next to our rental was a shared hot tub or not? As for the private and secluded it was a bit weird sitting in the hot tub at night to see someone drive up the drive way, park and go into the upstairs apartment.I would call it city private and secluded as from the front door you can see the neighbors houses in two directions. Again just not what we thought we were getting based on the pictures. The apartment is extremely well maintained, it was clean and comfortable, the appliances were all in working order and the check in and communication with the owner was extremely easy.
