This is an excellent place to rest from your daily adventures. A few notes that are in no way criticisms. For planning purposes, the bottom floor is 10 degrees cooler than the top. Put your folks down there that like it cold at night. The bottom right bedroom is just that, a bedroom. It's small and lacks amenities, but the bed is comfortable and I slept like a baby down there. The other 3 bedrooms are normal sized and have normal amenities.

18 Pines is a great place to stay in the Nekoosa/Rome area.Our group visited for a golf trip to Sand Valley, and we could not have been more impressed with the accommodations. The house was clean, spacious, well-appointed, and only a few minutes from Sand Valley Golf Resort. Everything about our lodging experience was great. The kitchen and dining area were excellent for preparing meals. The large basement, with comfy furniture, cozy furnishings, a card table, TV, and dry bar was great for gathering after the sun went down. Outside, the wrap-around deck, with a couple tables and chairs, and looking out at the Lake Arrowhead golf course, was a perfect place for relaxing in the evenings.Lastly, the host, Brian, was fantastic. I asked a number of questions leading up to our stay, and he always responded promptly and thoroughly. The check-in and check-out procedures were as smooth and simple as possible. Once on-site, we did not need anything because the house was totally prepared for us, but I have no doubt that Brian would have done assisted in any way possible should we have had any questions.I cannot provide a stronger recommendation for 18 Pines. If you are headed to the area and are looking for lodging, stay there! The next time we head up to central Wisconsin, we will!

Fantastic Property. Rarely are places better than the photos online, but this one was. Fire pit was great, deck was great, kitchen well stocked. Everything worked well and we had a really comfortable stay.
