Beautiful log cabins in quiet location with spectacular mountain views under Mount 7. Lodges are set in 68acres , with mountains behind the property as well as a mountain view to the front and only 10 minutes from Golden. Deer Lodge is a 900 sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom lodge, which sleeps 4 comfortably for your exclusive use. The lodge has spectacular views of the whole property, the mountain ranges, paddocks and horses, sunsets and stars. There is a private hot tub and gas grill on the covered deck where you can enjoy the spectacular mountain view. Deer Lodge is the perfect place to spend your honeymoon or anniversary, making memories to,last a lifetime. Deer Lodge has a full kitchens with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and stove. There is a separate dining area and the living area has a cozy infrared fireplace. The lodge comes with wireless internet, HDTV, DVD and a smart TV so,you can sign into,your own streaming choices. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed and the main floor has a Queen bed.
Established in 2006, lots of great testimonials from happy customers and many repeat customers, you can be guaranteed to be wowed with your accommodation, the surroundings and your hosts. A great getaway at anytime of the year.

Kicking Horse is 20 km away. Revelstoke is 90 minutes drive. Lake Louise is 1 hour and Banff is 2 hours.

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.

Stunning views in a wonderful cabin

By far the best stay I have ever had. The cabin is well equipped and wonderfully comfortable, very clean and well cared for. Outside hot tub was great. But the views, tops everything off, the wide open windows open to a view to remember. And it is the same view from the hot tub. Horses run in the field just below adding to the ambiance. I look forward to coming back again.

The best cabin in the woods!

Lovely cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Deer Lodge! The setting was beautiful and we loved watching the horses in the pasture. Very comfortable and spacious inside, and the wrap around deck with the grill and hot tub was great.

We loved staying here for our Banff and Glacier National BC adventures. Soooo clean, beautiful views, wonderful hot tub for after hiking! Had everything we needed to make breakfast every day. We loved it!!

A magical experience

Peaceful lodge super close to the heart of Golden

We had such a lovely stay and I will be booking with Mount 7 the next time I am in Golden. The lodge itself (Deer) had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. The property was equally as amazing with its views, private walking trail, and quietness.

Cant reccomend this place more! Such a clean beautiful place. The views are amazing and the host was so kind. The dog on property was so social and greeted us when we arrived. Hottub was amazing and crystal clear i will definitely be back!

Chalet is top notch, location is amazing backing crown land. Super dog friendly which is hard to find. Fun to hangout in the hotub watching the horses and amazing view. One of our favorite vaca rental of all time.

Relaxation, Peace and Quiet

Amazing property and lodging. The Deer Lodge was everything we imagined and more. Having your own private hot tub was so nice and the view from the deck was out of this world. The owners were very friendly and obliging. We will definitely plan another visit and recommend it to out friends.

Wonderful stay in Gloden!

Cabin is cozy, clean and well appointed. Everything you need for your stay in Golden. Out of the way, but an easy drive from the main road. Loved the hot tub and feeding the horses each morning. Centrally located between multiple national parks, but with the small town of Golden nearby, instead of touristy Banff. Jo was a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Wonderful getaway place in nature

This is a great property located just outside of Golden, with a lovely view of nature and mountains. It’s a very quiet area, but is close enough to town to pick up any essentials that may have been forgotten. The chalet is very clean and comes with a bbq and hot tub. The two bedrooms are perfect for our group of four adults. We were very impressed with this property and wish we would have been able to spend more time here. We would rebook this property in a heartbeat.

Beautiful cabin in the woods close to the town of Golden and Kicking Horse Ski Resort BC

The house was beautiful nestled in the woods but so close to the town of Golden and the Kicking Horse ski resort. We were spoilt in the beautiful house and surroundings, we had the best sleep in years in the absolute silence day or night, the privacy in the house and in the spa on the deck was appreciated. We will come back again despite the 17 hours of flying plus stopovers from Australia. The entire property is a credit to the owners.

Daughters wedding week

It was perfect….. relaxing during a busy time. Jo even lent me baking material so I could make my daughter wedding cake. Spectacular setting with horses and mountains in view to wake up to. Beds super comfy and hot tub to star gaze as night. Exceeded my expectations. 🤗❤️

5 Stars for Mount 7 Lodges

We spent our 27th anniversary at Mount 7 Lodges. 4 peaceful days/nights taking in all the majestic views of snow covered mountains, grazing horses and falling snow. So quiet and serene. The hosts are the “BEST”. Very accommodating, friendly and truly make you feel at home. Their dog, Loxley is extremely welcoming too! The cabins are immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable.
