Great host! Very nice home and property, lots of little things that made it nice. Really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. Very close to the riding trails.
Had a wonderful time here. Wish I took more pictures of the outside of the house. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was here. If we come back to Colorado we plan to stay here again.
My family and I enjoyed our stay. We were far enough away from the towns to feel isolated and enjoy the sounds of the wilderness but close enough to visit some of the popular sites like garden of the gods and pikes peak. The view of pikes peak as you leave the community where the house is located leaves a memorable impression.
This property was exactly as advertised. It was a well maintained home with everything you could need for a vacation. The homeowners provide many ammenities to make traveling so much easier. Use of the hot tub was wonderful after days of hiking different paths. And gave you the ability to relax under beautiful star filled skys. The location was perfect. It gave you the feeling of being away from everything but was close enough to so many different activities, like pikes peak, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado Springs and many more. The hosts were in contact the whole time and very easy to get a hold of if anything was needed.If/When I come back out to Colorado, this is somewhere I would easily choose to stay again!
Incredible property in an incredible location with incredibly kind and gracious hosts! Flowers, hummingbirds, and sunshine in abundance. We wanted to spend a few days in the mountains after a work trip, and picked Divide over a place like Breckenridge ... and so glad we did.Divide is a mere 24 miles from Colorado Springs, but at this house, you feel distant from all that. The property is really well done -- you can tell the love and care that have gone into it over the years. The spaces -- especially the outdoor spaces -- are beautiful and thoughtfully composed. The community is beautiful with lakes you can walk around and a great view of Pikes Peak from the main lake.Inside, the bed is warm. The kitchen is stocked and functional, and there are some staples to help round out your cooking. There's a great grill, and the hot tub does not disappoint. It's a quick trip to many outdoor adventures in any direction. Pikes Peak, Manitou, Garden of the Gods... or going the other direction, Cripple Creek, Florissant, Ute Pass, Lost Creek Wilderness. We enjoyed driving up the mountain roads towards Bailey and hiking in Pikes Peak National Forest at Cheesman Canyon and other places. On your way back, check out Paradox Brewing in Divide, a mere 10 minutes from the house.
