I loved my stay!Tracy is a wonderful host and she has taken care of everything you could want and need while being in this lovely seaside haven. I delighted in people watching from the front room, star gazing from the outdoor patio, and just vegg’ing out with the kids downstairs in their own amazing space.Location, location, location, is absolutely king here! You can walk anywhere from this central location in no-time flat. A few suggestions from me - cross the street and get the best Greek style pizza around at Marblehead House of Pizza, take that special someone for a dinner in one of Marblehead’s nicest restaurants, Five Corners, and finally the town has one of the coolest cinemas just a stone’s throw away at the Warwick!Whatever you plan for your time in Marblehead if you stay in this gem you are sure to have an amazing experience! We can’t wait to come back!!
As detailed in the listing- the house is adorable, conveniently located, and one of the most organized rentals I've seen! Everything is spotless and well cared for.
We are long time visitors of Marblehead and this has been one of, if not the best place we’ve stayed so far. The property was well appointed from the kitchen all the way to linens. A great central home that you will love!

Thanks Graham! It was a pleasure having you and your guests here. I hope to see you next time you’re in town!
This home was beautiful, bright, cheery and clean. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect! Restaurants, shops and beaches within walking distance. We had great communication with our host who made our visit personal and would love to stay here again.

Margo and her family were the ultimate guests. Quiet, respectful, very wonderful guests. I would rent to them again!
Beautiful clean home however some difficulties including difficulty with locking/unlocking doors with codes, sensitive fire alarm went off easily and host was not responsive in a timely fashion. Quiet hours are very strict and host lives above VRBO property. Otherwise clean home, pictures as listed and great location nearby Marblehead.

Its always a bit upsetting when a negative review comes through, I read them all and am so thankful to have a 5 star super host rating. I work very hard for it. I believe a few things were left off in Meghans review.
1) it states clearly on line that I have quiet hours of 10pm -8am. My house was built in 1733 and is definately not soundproof. So when Meghan and her friends came home around midnight laughing, yelling and slamming doors, it was upsetting they couldnt adhere to the rules. (they are also posted in the unit) Since I live above the unit this is the one rule that is important to me. I was expecting an appology the next day for the rude behavior not a negative review.
As far as entering the unit, the unit has a code, that is sent to all guests ahead of time. I dont understand the difficultiy in entering the unit, no other guest has had an issue.
I was never notified of the smoke detector going off, or what they were cooking to set it off so Im not sure how I can be judged on that. I'm glad the rest of their stay was enjoyable and you enjoyed the unit and Marblehead, as that is always my goal.
My family and I stayed here while attending a wedding in Boston. The home itself was fine, but unfortunately the host made us feel very unwelcome. We had a service dog, and despite cleaning up after him every time, the host told us he was not allowed in the backyard because her dog was taking longer to use the bathroom bc it could smell our dog. She even threatened to remove us if she saw him outside again, and attempted to charge an extra fee after our stay, which showed a severe lack of ADA protections. The backyard was also often unavailable in the evenings due to the host using it with friends. With 4 adults, and three small children, the house is tight and not particularly kid-friendly. The first-floor bedroom had a very uncomfortable spring mattress, and both bathrooms were located on the first floor (none on the lower level). Parking was inconsistent—sometimes available nearby, but at worst down the street.Overall, while the home had potential, the experience was extremely disappointing due to the host’s restrictions, rude demeanor and lack of hospitality.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Marblehead! The location is unbeatable—charming, quiet, and just a short stroll to the historic downtown and the waterfront. The home itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was perfect for an evening chat with a glass of wine. Our host was exceptionally welcoming and responsive from booking to checkout. We couldn't have asked for a better coastal getaway and are already looking forward to coming back!
Loved the house. Tracy was great communicating with me during our stay and accommodating.

About the host
Hosted by Tracy Brodd
I’m originally from Washington state and it lived throughout Massachusetts south and north I’ve owned property in Marblehead for 20 years and managed other Airbnb‘s. Things that I enjoy: I enjoy real estate investing and I love my French bulldog and I international travel, and I love to cook. And I love to do something different that makes someone's day.... or weekend.
Why they chose this property
PARKING: There is plenty of street parking on both sides of Washington St. or if needed some of the side streets. There is no problem parking. Location This home is 1 mile to the beach (we supply the chairs, towel and lotion- has food stand) .4 miles to Crosbys Grocery Store .3 miles to Crocker park, .9 to Ft Sewall, .2 mile to CVS, 800 ft to Abbot hall. 2.5 miles to Salem, 15 mi to Logan Airport, 1 14 miles to Boston, 40 miles to Portsmouth, 21 miles to Newburyport, 53 miles to Ogunquit/Wells beach in ME.
I’ve lived in many neighborhoods in Massachusetts, including downtown Boston and Beacon Hill, south of Boston and by far Marblehead is my favorite place. The people are unique and special and outgoing and easy to quickly make friends. The properties are so old and historic, this is the town where the Navy first originated and it’s an incredibly walkable town you can walk to the grocery store and all the shops and restaurants, movie theatre, 3 parks, and it’s 1 mile to the beach.
What makes this property unique
My goal was to create something different that every member of the family can enjoy or every group of friends traveling together. You will enjoy a bottle of prosecco when you arrive, you will have chocolates, brochures on the town and a welcome guide I've written. You will have directions to the French Bistro around the corner, and our very own Speak Easy if you are hungry and thirsty. But in addition to these little luxuries, each room will greet you with a theme so you can really feel away, safari in the living room, bedrooms: glam room, mid century modern, my happy place and the oceanic room with fish swimming on the walls, games and books, and a chalk wall you can write on, and glow in the dark stars on the ceiling, just one of the many surprises each room has to offer. This property has a perfect location in our town, it has a beautiful backyard with squirt guns, a sprinkler to run through and other children's games and plenty of seating, with a sectional couch, 2 heat lamps, 3 other chairs and tables to enjoy the space, day or lit up with solar lights at night. It’s located right downtown at 5 Corners and walkable to everything this town has to offer, including 1 mile to the beach. Its very spacious and enjoyable.
