Peaceful oasis north of Nashville
FREE high-speed internet (1 Gig) - great for digital nomads and for bingeing your favorite series.
The peaceful oasis that is the Perdue Farm house is surrounded by beautiful views and rolling fields on one of the area's oldest continuously-operating family farms.
Located 45 miles north of Nashville and 20 miles south of Bowling Green (Western Kentucky U and the National Corvette Museum), it's perfect as a base for a Girlfriends' Weekend or for visiting family in the Portland area.
In fact, this house is perfect for a retreat of ANY kind: starting or finishing your book, connecting with nature, stepping off the treadmill of modern life, escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, or rekindling romance for couples. The jetted whirlpool tub increases the relaxation factor. Most guests report the peacefulness of watching the deer families loping across the fields at twilight or dawn; others love sitting on the deck with their morning cuppa, listening to the birds chirp and trill in the maple and plum trees. And the big sky! It produces beautiful dawns and magnificent sunsets. Scattered across the night sky are so many stars, plus a clear view of moonrises and moonsets. Come see for yourself!

We have an annual vacation to Portland/ Franklin area, and this farmhouse has become our peaceful oasis for our trip for more than a decade, and we hope to continue this tradition for many years to come.
Lila, once again thank you for opening your home. It's reassuring that we can always expect all the comforts of home when we visit family in Tennessee.
The location of the home was very nice and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and saw several deer in the fields each evening. Plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen was well equipped. My only reason for giving a rating of 3 is that the couch cushions were pretty worn out so sitting inside wasn’t very comfortable and the queen mattress in the back room sunk into the middle of bed.
Great location. Farm land all around the property. Quiet and peaceful with lots of birds singing all day. Exactly as described. The house had all we needed and was roomy with extras that were appreciated. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you, Lila.
Our trip was wonderful. The house sits in a quiet serene location, but close enough for us to go to the races at Kentucky Downs, see the show Shiners in Nashville, visit Mammoth Cave, and have some bourbon tasting in Bardstown. This is my favorite destination, and plan to return annually as long as Lila will have us.
This was a nice and private home. Everything was perfect! Lots of kitchen gadgets and room for family to meet and prepare for a wedding. Would definitely book again!
A lovely and very comfortable country home with modern conveniences. Perfect for a romantic or family getaway. Wide open outdoor space makes for spectacular sunsets and sunrises. A quiet place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the countryside with plenty of birds and deer to watch and room to play. Lila, the host of the family farm/property is awesome. We loved our one month stay
My family had a great time staying at this property. It was extremely clean! We enjoyed being secluded and not in a typical neighborhood. It was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.
Had a great time staying at the house. We played cards. Went horse back riding, water park visited trail of teas museum and enjoyed the fireworks. We all enjoyed our stay. Can’t wait to stay here again

Perfect weekend
Great house in a perfect location. Thanks for Accommodating us with the early arrival.
This cozy home in the peaceful countryside was perfect for some rest and relaxation. The views of the woods and fields at sunrise and sunset were absolutely beautiful. My dogs loved our walks exploring our surroundings. Thank you Lila for allowing us
We lived in this house when our kids were little and it's great to be able to visit again. We're building & wanted to spend Christmas in a real house (not our camper) and this was prefect! We love this area and this farm.
