"Huron Winds" a charming 3-bedroom house just steps from Lake Huron in Oscoda

Our cozy home is the perfect vacation spot for you and your family. Located in a quiet neighborhood just a short distance from downtown, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is bright and well-equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a Keurig and regular coffee maker, a Belgian waffle maker, an Instapot and small air fryer and a nice dining area. The living room has a smart TV as well as a DVD/VHS player. You can also enjoy the convenience of a laundry room, outdoor seating, and a cool recreation room to hang out in during the day or at night. If you're bringing young children, a portable highchair, a toddler bedrail, as well as a pack-n-play with sheets are stored in a closet for your convenience.

This charming cottage offers many amenities, including a wooden swing, charcoal grill, and an outdoor shower to wash off the sand. You can also enjoy the recreation room with a foosball table, games, several VHS movies, and books.

The house is located just minutes away from restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, grocery shopping, antiques, and kayaking/canoeing. Within a half-hours drive you can enjoy hiking, golf and mini-golf courses, lighthouses and more!

Grab some of the sand toys available at the house and head to the beach! You have access to Lake Huron kiddy corner to this home on a dead-end street. It is just a short stroll. The water starts out shallow, as is typical in this area which is great for young swimmers and water games. You can also easily access the public beach, splash pad, and playground, which is just two blocks away.

Our house is dog-friendly with a fenced in backyard. We kindly ask you to keep your dogs off of the furniture, especially the beds and to clean up your pets' waste from the yard.

*All bed linens are included. The towels that are provided consist of 4 bath towels, 2 wash cloths, and 1 hand towel per bathroom. Dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and a limited supply of laundry detergent and toilet paper are provided.

This is a beautiful spot within walking distance to the water and town! If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is it. We had a great experience and the house had everything we needed. Everyone in town was welcoming and nice and the beaches were beautiful.

Cabin rooms were all clean as was the game room and the outside area. Had a very peaceful and private feeling. It was very nice to have the outdoor shower to rinse the beach sand off. Short walk to beach and some of the business areas.Quick drive to others. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone else!!

As described and seen in pics! Very cute & cozy decor. The bonus bldg and sun room in front gave us room for "beach extras" & room for family to spread out. It says not handicap accessible (which there are a couple stairs but the large bathroom was great for our special needs adult)! There are extras for almost anything you could need & I thought that was very thoughtful!!

Was a very cute a spacious home. Was able to bring my small dog and not worry cause the back yard is fenced. Any questions i had she was really quick to respond and helpful. There was no firepit but so many other things she has there to do we werent too upset about it. Rec room has lots of games and puzzles. Kitchen has pretty much all you need.

Beautiful,clean home in a perfect location! Everything you could possibly need and more! Our family enjoyed the closness of the beach, quite literally a few steps away spent nearly every day there. Plenty of space for all of us to sleep comfortably and not feel cramped. The house was well stocked with all the necessities you could ever need and then some! So many books, games, movies, cards etc provided that we had plenty of entertainment to choose from.The house is situated in a perfect location to access nearby attractions and sights and restaurants and shops downtown while still feeling private and in a quiet area. The yard was beautiful and had plenty of sitting space to enjoy a quiet evening there or in the rec room off the garage which was a neat bonus! Host was kind and responsive and made sure to answer our questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend booking this place for your next stay and i hope we can return in the future!

We live downstate, but have always loved vacationing in Oscoda. We were so happy to be able to purchase this house in 2016. We quickly decided to share it with others through renting and have been doing so since the summer of 2017
