The area is perfect for skiing, hiking, biking and visiting the local attractions including historic sites, renowned breweries, and restaurants.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

•Strip and place the sheets on laundry floor. •Leave comforters and mattress pads on beds. •Place towels in the washer and start the normal cycle, any excess towels on laundry floor.

•Don't mix colors and white laundry. •Load any dirty dishes into dishwasher and run 'normal' cycle. Do not include cutting boards or wooden spoons. •Turn off AC and the fans, set thermostats to 67.

•Place garbage/recycling bags in trash bins in dumpster located to the right of front door. Wooden door on the left is recycling, on the right is regular trash.

Exactly as advertised. The decks looking over the river are great. Being able to just park the car for the week and walk everywhere makes it that more enjoyable. Hosts are very responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

The place is very clean to start and well furnished. The beds are comfortable with duvet style bedding. The location can’t be better with a well stocked and priced grocery store right next door. It’s a short walk to all of the shops and skiing. Well done.

Everything was as advertised. Very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with new pots and pans, spices, and coffee. Plenty of quality towels. Being so close to the local market is a bonus. It’s just across the parking lot. Stowe is a quick 10 minute drive or you can take the shuttle. Would definitely stay here if retuning to the area.

What a wonderful stay! An absolutely immaculate, comfortable, peaceful, well-located home. We did not want to leave! We have been to Stowe many times, and this property is by far the best. We feel fortunate it was available to us.Even better than the property - which is super tough to beat - are the owners! George is just such a nice, nice person to work! A spacious and beautiful unit right on the little river, running through town, and right in the central part of town, close to a food market and all of the other wonders of Stowe. My wife and I have stayed in many short-term rental units throughout the world, and this was the best appointed of all of them. The kitchen had all the utensils and cooking artifacts. One needs. The owners have gone out of their way to supply two ways of making coffee, with many Keurig pods and teas. Beautiful granite counters in the kitchen, three different size, cutting boards, a knife set, and a dishwasher, microwave, and toaster oven, along with the regular stove, top and large oven. I spend a substantial time in my kitchen at home, and I can’t imagine what else the owners could provide.The bedrooms were very nice and spacious, each with its own bathroom. The living room had a deck overlooking the river, and had some games, reading material about the area, a huge TV where we watched the World Cup and Wimbledon matches. It was like being home. Everything was provided with a serious amount of thoughtfulness. Our host were available all the time. And, they even left us a bottle of sparkling wine to top it off. Just a joy to have stayed here.

Fantastic location near the heart/downtown of Stowe. Unit was well maintained and equipped. Back deck was very peaceful by the river. Located less than a quarter mile from the local grocery store which is very convenient. Would love to stay here again during our next visit to Stowe.

Communicative hosts, cozy space, emphatic instructions, ample room, plentiful parking, and located right across from Stowe Village (walking distance to the shuttle stop, though it’s a quick drive to the mountain too). Fully working kitchen, laundry, all generously stocked. Safe bet for your Stowe trip. I ski Stowe a lot so I’ve stayed all over this area, from other vacation rentals to the local hotels to out in Burlington/Montpelier, and I think this spot was so far my best experience. Some nice Vermont hospitality. Everyone I traveled with was extremely happy. Yet another trip that made me ask why I don’t just move out here.
