Cute and well stocked cabin on a great piece of land. Very secluded while still being convenient. The owners are very kind and make it easy to find. If you plan on eating out, make a reservation at The Family Table, definitely the best meal we had on our trip.
The cabin was adorable! It was a bit of a drive into a secluded area, but was in a great location! The kitchen was great & host family dog were sweet. I can’t lie, the compost toilet was a bit stinky for 3 days (even with the seat down), but other than that, it was a nice stay!
It was a beautiful property. The colors of foliage were right outside the cabin. It was so quiet and serene. Loved the property. We have never used a compostable toilet, but was easy with the detailed directions on how to use. Loved not having a tv in the unit so we could just unplug and play games and read in the evening. WiFi was good. Kitchen had everything we needed.
The cabin was a very sweet, comfortable place to spend the night. We loved the fact that there’s an array of solar panels, extensive gardens, composting toilet, on demand hot water… obviously a lot of thought went into the build on this cute little energy efficient cabin. It was a perfect overnight after a wedding that was just a little too far from home. We never saw the hosts so being there felt very private even though the cabin is within sight of their home.Thank you!
This is a very cute little cabin, and very clean. I chose it because it mentioned that it wad a working organic farm and that wr could see it and watch whatever processes were going on (canning, preserving, whatever was in season). This is not a farm, but a large garden, and nothing was going on to observe or see.The cabin alone is worth the stay, but I would have preferred not to have expected a farm.
If you're looking for a cozy, charming cabin in the woods, look no further! My husband and I only stayed one night, but we felt so welcomed by Rachel and her family. The kitchen is well-stocked, the place was clean, and I wish we had time to explore more.
