This cottage used to house the miners as they came off the boats to work the quarry. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat offers a blend of modern comfort and nautical character. Featuring stainless steel appliances, original wood paneling, and warm wood flooring throughout, the cottage invites you to unwind in style. With a king bed and full bed upstairs, plus a cozy pull-out couch in the sunroom, it comfortably accommodates guests. The full bathroom on the second floor has an oversized walk-in shower. The house was very clean and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well outfitted. The only thing I disliked was the smell from the lobster company and that the listing did not say that the property faced the parking lot of a fish processing company.

Lovely Cottage – Sparkling Clean and Convenient Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a wonderful stay at this quaint and cozy cottage! It was very clean, bright, and nicely decorated, making it feel comfortable and inviting. We loved being able to see the bay from the cottage—it added such a peaceful touch to our stay. The location was great, just a short drive to Rockland and plenty of restaurants. The hosts were very responsive and made everything easy. Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the cleanest cottages I have ever stayed in. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms so I didn’t have to think of the basics. Comfy beds with nice linens. And the bedrooms were spacious and light. Enough room for two couples or a family with two kids. Located within walking distance of McCloons which has the best lobster and crabmeat rolls in Maine. Great area to walk, bike, canoe or watch a working lobster coops at work.
