This Condo Was Superb

We stayed a week in this Fully Equipped condo and it was wonderful!! Our old cat hid under the bed the first day, but soon enjoyed all the amenities as we did from the start!! This condo is right on the beach and we did not miss a day heading over the dune on our foot bridge for a walk on the white sands of Destin!!! 😎

Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper Cove is in a great location and this was the 2nd time to vacation there. The property as a whole is getting a bit dated, but unit 1123 was clean & a short walk to the beach. It would have been nice to have an access code for the back door when returning from the beach. The master bedroom mattress was either old or inexpensive with very little support. It was awesome to see dolphins pass by almost every day, early evening. Overall, our stay was nice.

Checking in was greeted with Kindness, friendliness, and very informed personnel. Loved the condo with a beautiful view. Was very clean and comfortable bed and furnishings. Loved sitting on the deck and deck furniture was very comfortable. I loved having two bathrooms. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is for an adult to sleep in the bunkbeds they are definitely size for children. My friend and I had a wonderful two nights there and was very well rested for the rest of our trip. Loved going to shell island and there are many good seafood restaurants.

Good stay

This property meets basic needs. The master bed is old and needs to be replaced; not very comfortable. One of the bathrooms is extremely small; I am 5‘8“ and could not bend down to put soap on my legs or feet because the shower was so small. There were some red stains on one corner of the comforter; what seemed to be dry blood but not sure what it was from so we did not use the comforter. The furniture in the condo is basic. The walk to the beach is short and very convenient and the property is located in a very central location; close to restaurants and everything else Destin has to offer. This is a good property but needs some upgrades. We felt it was overpriced for what it has to offer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in Unit 1123. It was a treat to find a one bedroom with two full bathrooms. The unit is just a short walk to the beach.We were however given the wrong # to open the door. The unit # had been removed due to painting and that made it a challenge being sure we had the right unit. Two kind maintenance men were able to open the door and confirm we had a wrong #. I made two calls to the office and no help, she confirmed the # and a 7 was actually a 2 though she acted as though surely I was wrong. Her reply was “Well, that is the right # see if you can’t figure it out”!Rude! As though I read the # wrong or was too old to open the door! My first call to a man was to confirm the unit w/o a number. He was no help, said I turned the wrong way but we got help from a nice lady walking her dog.First contact was not good but we still had a good stay.
