House was super - however you do need 4 wheel drive to get up the mountaintop - the dirt road county road 84 is a little over 5 miles of bad road - the 2.2 miles up the mountain were spectacular
The pup enjoying the view
Plenty of room - we enjoyed sitting at the countertop area drinking our morning coffee w a view of Pikes Peak
Plenty of space for everyone

Thank you so much for staying at our mountain home. We’re glad you enjoyed the spectacular views, and hope to host you again soon. Yes, as we recommended to you (and to all our guests) 4x4 vehicles, especially in the winter months. Mountain stays are often away from highways. The maintenance of a county road is outside of our control and we’ve had considerable rain this year. We have many neighbors who live here year round and use county road 84 daily. Because the road is outside of our control I’m disappointed you gave us a 3/5 star review.

Lovely home, private location, amazing view.

We selected this property hoping for a quiet, secluded getaway with great Colorado views. We were not disappointed. This home felt like it was brand new with a very comfortable and inviting interior. Bear in mind that the last few miles to the location are unpaved with some tight turns and steep climbs but we love this type of location. It is well suited for a family with three bedrooms each with a full bath. I definitely recommend this if you want to experience the beauty of Colorado. With this as our base location we visited Pike Peak, Garden of the gods, Royal Gorge and Monarch pass when we crossed the continental divide heading over to Gunnison.
