This was a smooth and easy stay. The host was incredibly nice to communicate with, and the house was great. Walkable to so many things and well set up. The stairs upstairs are a bit steep, but that wasn't a problem for my group.
Came in for a few days to check out the area for our soon to be freshman at UO. Short walking distance to restaurants and shops in the downtown area and easy drive to campus and Autzen. House was fully stocked and a nice seating area in the back to enjoy the nice weather. Beds were comfortable and check in and out were easy. Only wish would be access to a washer and dryer.

Thank you Kyle for the nice review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay at our place and found it to be so convenient to food and shopping! If you had reached out to me, I could have recommended a wonderful laundromat very close to the house. The place has a person there always and they use only eco friendly soap which is provided on site.
208 E .2nd is a treasure to behold. The ambience, atmosphere and location are perfect . Eugene was essentially set at our feet to explore. Each evening it was a pleasure to return to our “spot” to relax with a meal and settle in to await the next day
This older home is impeccably maintained and beautifully decorated. The beds are really comfortable. The neighborhood feels safe. The staircase was a little steep for me and my daughter (we both have knee issues), but our other family members had no issues. Really lovely place; we'd stay there again if we return to the Eugene area.
We were in town for a family wedding. Most of the group stayed at a hotel in town, but we wanted something that was more conducive to hanging out with each other.
This house is lovely and well-equipped. It's close to the Willamette River with trails for running, walking and biking. It's only three blocks from shops, restaurants and bars, and the hotel that everyone else stayed in.
It would be nice if the house had an available washer/dryer, but it wasn't a deal-breaker for a four-night stay.
One note: the railroad runs right through town and the horns are loud through the night. It didn't bother us, but some people might not like it. Of course, if you were staying at the Gordon or Inn at the 5th in town, you'd be even closer to it.

Great stay
We were in Eugene for Cycle Oregon Weekend held at University of Oregon for the first time. Since our group of 6 consisted of extended family and the Cycle Oregon housing options included camping or 2 bed dorm rooms without air conditioning, we chose to rent this house. It was perfect. Everyone had a very comfortable bed in an air conditioned house which was quite nice after a day cycling in 90+ degree weather. The house was also perfectly located allowing us to ride bike paths back and forth between campus. No need to drive. The owners were pleasant and gracious. I would recommend this house without reservation for any visit to Eugene, especially if you desire to be close to campus and/or town.
Overall, pretty good. The location was great and the place was clean. We did not cook or use the kitchen since there were no pots or pans, but there were plates and cups if we needed. We ate elsewhere and basically just slept and showered there. Once the house warmed up, it was very comfortable. The stairs are a little narrow, and slippery, so it is good to be very careful going up or down them. One person fell down a few stairs when we first got there, so we took extra care after that.

Hi Eugene, we're glad you enjoyed your stay overall! After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to clarify the following:
- We do supply pots and pans; they are located in three drawers to the left of the stove and under the microwave. We wish you reached out to us, we would've been happy to let you know where you could find them.
- There is a sturdy handrailing on the stairs that is in proper working order that guests can use for assistance if needed.
We will continue to do all we can to provide our guests with the best possible stay!
We stayed here for a campus tour and football game over Thanksgiving week and greatly enjoyed the home itself, the location, and owners (friendly and helpful). There’s a great market within walking distance, and we loved the experience walking to the stadium. The home was perfect for our family of 3 and could easily accommodate our slightly larger family when we return to move my son here for college.
