The house and area were beautiful and when I had a small issue with the front door lock, Sarah got right back to me and got it fixed. Would stay again.

Perfect getaway!

Clean, organized, and updated

The property is well maintained, very clean, organized, and provides for everything needed. Decor is nicely done, bed was comfortable. We were upset that the hottub was unavailable due to COVID - however we were not informed ahead of time and/or provided any discount as a result. It is closer to other houses and a huge water tank then what it seemed in the pictures, so it’s really not as private as one might think. Overall nice property, house, etc.

Thank you for your review, you were indeed informed that the hot tub was off-limits due to Covid according to the CDC guidelines and it’s posted within the listing, my apologies if you missed it. I’m sorry that you found the picturesque corner lot to be semi private and the water tank makes absolutely no noise! Strawberry is a great little town with great people, please enjoy!

Birthday Trip in the Trees

I took my wife up here for her 30th birthday. We also had her best friend and her husband meet us up here all the way from Virginia. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Wood floors, cozy beds, very comfortable and really made us feel at home. Great amenities like a bbq, firepit, hottub, and hamook. They left us a complimentary bottle of wine on the counter which was very sweet. Short drive up the road to a beautiful goat/lamma farm that has some gorgeous veiws. An odd thing that made us feel a little uneasy is that there was a full fridge and pantry and lots of personal items left in closets and bathrooms. We barley had room to fit our personal groceries. Making it seem like the owners of the home live out of the home unless it's being rented. Which isn't a huge deal really, just weird to see used razors in the shower and personal clothing hung up around the home. Another strange thing was there were some kind of medical needles in the fridge, again not a huge deal just not what you expect usually if you're coming in on vacation to a home. The shower in the master bathroom needs a little work, I think the hard water has rusted some of the holes on the rain showerhead so the water doesn't flow well. But again, these are little picky things that could possibly help better someone's experience. On an ending note, something that did bother us a bit was the furniture was covered in dog hair. The second I sat down on the couch my whole shirt was covered, although it says no pets on the overview of the home. Overall, the home is gorgeous, the area is beautiful. We loved exploring in the Tonto National Forest right across the street, saw a ton of wildlife in the Trees also. We loved it, and sincerely hope to be back at this property sometime very soon. Thanks for everything. Thirtyith birthday was a success.

The property was nice. The property manager i.e. the owner, was very difficult and unpleasant.

The cabin was nice. I personally rented this for my daughter a few of her friends and I. I got stuck out of town and could not make the trip. I believe the owner was upset that I was not there. My daughter and her friends who stayed at the cabin are all adults. The owner has cameras on the property and I do not blame her. She contacted me to ask why there were 4 girls at the house. I explained that I was stuck out of town and that my daughter had a 3rd friend join them. I paid for 4 people. The owner asked my why I didn't inform here that I was not there. I do not know what business it is of hers if I paid for four people and they were all adults. I received an email that my credit card is being charged for the damages. One of the girls left a valuable necklace on the property and I asked how we could get it back. My message was ignored. This was the worst experience I have had with renting a place for 2 days. The owner is trying to charge me $300 for a dent in the refrigerator. The dent was not caused by anyone during the stay. I also paid for insurance so I should not be charged anyway. How the value of damage was assessed has not been determined.

Thank you for the review however since you did NOT actually stay at the property as you were deceitful about the reservation and your daughter and her friends damaged the property of which you now are refusing to take care of, vrbo will handle this promptly! Vrbo is based on hard working individuals opening up their homes to you, it’s very sad you cannot do the right thing and be honest! Best of luck lying & cheating through life, home owners BEWARE!

The Perfect Getaway!

Peaceful getaway with everything you need! The front porch is perfect for watching the wildlife & listening to the birds that visit the trees in the front yard. There's a nice trail system across the street that is perfect for a family hike. Friendly neighborhood. Will definitely come again.

Sarah has a beautiful, clean and comfortable property on the edge of a forest. Lots of outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the local scenery. We will try to visit again sometime!

Perfect getaway cabin!

The cabin was actually cuter than the pictures! It was clean, decorated nicely and the perfect size for our family of 6! Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly and we enjoyed everything about our experience in the home. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others :-)

Nice cabin.

The cabin was very nice. Everything looked and felt very new. The only odd thing as a review posted below was how much food and things of the owners were there. Just tried to make sure that we kept our stuff in the fridge seperate so we didn’t accidentally take something of there’s. The WiFi did not work the whole trip but was a nice escape from the technology. Location was perfect. I also found it very odd that we had to wash and make the beds and pay for a cleaning fee. Just being picky and I understood there concern as we made the reservation late so maybe they didn’t have a turn around time. Not complaining just being honest on what we did. Overall it was a beautiful home/cabin. Thanks for letting us get away from reality for a weekend.

Shannon, thanks for the review. As stated in my listing, this is my second home and I live there part time so my things are on site. As well, the wifi did work and I confirmed with the cable company, my apologies you experienced difficulty. Furthermore, it was thanksgiving and the Cleaning fee only covers light cleaning not the bedding as stated very clearly in the listing. Thank you

Comfortable, cozy cabin with amazing views

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The cabin is gorgeous inside and out. The views from the patio were amazing. The home owner even left us a gift and a "congratulations". Top notch service with a top notch cabin. Will definitely be back.
