HOLIDAY BOOKING REQUIREMENTS IN 2025:
Minimum 3 night booking (Check in Friday, check out on Monday) required for MLK weekend, President's Day weekend, Easter weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, Columbus Day weekend, Veteran's Day weekend.

Minimum 3 night stay for 4th of July weekend (check in Thursday, check out on Sunday). Minimum 4 night stay for Thanksgiving weekend (check in Wednesday, check out on Sunday). Minimum 4 night stay for Christmas (check in on Wednesday, check out on Sunday). Minimum 4 night stay for New Year's (check in on Wednesday, check out on Sunday). You can add nights to minimum holiday bookings on the front or back end, call for details.

A beautiful, spacious mountain retreat with stunning views of the entire town of Pine, the Matazal Mountains, Four Peaks & Mt. Ord to the south. Completed in 2007, this 2,350 sq/ft home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a full kitchen including, a microwave, dishwasher, pantry, and double ovens.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, as well as the kitchen, dining area, and family room. In addition, downstairs there is a second master suite with a queen bedroom set, an ensuite bath with a stall shower and direct access to an outdoor patio. There is also a full laundry room including a mud room accessible from the garage downstairs. The garage is 1,000 sq/ft and is attached with parking for one car/truck. There is a large driveway with plenty of room for multiple vehicles. The garage doors are 10 feet high so they can accommodate a large truck.

There are four TVs in total with DISH network. The primary suite has an ensuite bath (with a bathtub, shower, toilet & double sinks) and a sliding door that accesses the wrap around deck. The primary suite also includes a large flat panel TV with a DVD player. There is a large, stone-faced wood-burning fireplace in the family room upstairs. The kitchen and family room are open concept with comfortable seating, a leather couch, a 2 chair loveseat and one recliner, a dining table that seats 8 and a pub table that can expand to seat an additional 4. The pub table also doubles as a puzzle table and is in front of the floor to ceiling chalet windows that capture the amazing views.

The cabin is situated on a 1.5 acre terraced, hillside lot in a small subdivision of custom homesites called Pine Mountain Acres. The property is located above Pine Creek and looks down on White Oaks Glen. It is an area that is traversed by deer and elk on their way to and from the creek. Large and small herds in the area come right across the property, especially in the morning and late afternoon/dusk.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Guests do not need to strip beds, as long as, it is obvious which beds were used. Please put dirty towels in tubs or on the floor, or down the laundry shoot in master closet, thank you.
Please make sure thermostats are set back at 78 on cool, upon leaving through October.
Remove all trash from property, trash can be disposed of at the Chevron station a mile away at Hwy 87 & Pine Creek Canyon Rd.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This is an incredible property with breathtaking views. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. This was our second summer renting this home. We plan on coming back for a third visit next year!

This is not the first time we stay at this place. It has definitely been well maintained throughout the years. It continues to have an amazing view. The Google maps directions at the very end are misleading.

Beautiful place to relax

The home was clean and beautiful and located on one of the most desirable mountain sides in Pine, AZ. We saw many elk and deer in the neighborhood. We look forward to going back in the future and highly recommend this VRBO/host to anybody considering the area!

Great Place to Get Away!

A very comfortable place to hang out with friends and family. Nice patio, great views and close to hiking and town. Tons of deer and wildlife viewing from the patio. it was clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and there are puzzles and games...everything you need for a long weekend!

Beautiful property

The home was amazing and my kids enjoyed having so much space. We saw elk when it wasn’t raining. Kitchen was fully stocked. Property is an hour away from activities but it is a great place to relax.

Beautiful location with views!

The property is located in the hills above Pine and the views are very beautiful. The house was clean, well stocked and we had a very nice trip. One thing that did surprise us because it’s not mentioned in the ad, is that you have to pack your garbage out and the filling station at the bottom of the hill charged 5/bag for dumping your garbage in their bin. For the money you’re paying for the place, we did feel that it would have been more appropriate to put your garbage in the can in the garage and ask the cleaning people to take it away when they clean the house.

Peaceful home with stunning views

Super nice property located in a small mountain town. Well equipped, clean with all the amenities you could ask for. Lots of little "joints" nearby with good local food and beverages. Town people all very friendly. Elk everywhere so be careful driving the area. Easy communication with Elana the owner. We'll be back!

Beautiful views

Exactly as shown in pictures. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We went for Christmas and the house was decorated for the holiday! We would definitely stay here again.Only suggestion is fill your trash bags completely. It was suggested we dump trash at Tom’s Chevron in town . When we took our trash to Tom’s they charge 5 per bag! We ended up bringing our trash Home with us.

Pine,AZ cabin on the Hill

Incredible property maintained for luxury and relaxation! We had such a relaxing weekend at this beautiful large cabin. The cabin was immaculate with all the amenities in the listing, and then some. We felt very comfortable without the worries as everything was taken care of from arrival to departure. As we use VRBO exclusively, this cabin was the best we have ever stayed at to date. This was a wonderful, relaxing, stress free vacation. You have gotta see this place, truly a Gem!!! We look forward to staying here again on the near future! Thank you so much for making our weekend such a special time.

Great stay!

What a beautiful home! The views were amazing and the home was well put together. Had everything you needed and more! There was a lot of rules to this home, but i definitely understand why. The home is beautiful and the owner wants it to stay that way. The rules never made us feel uncomfortable what so ever. My children had a blast making smores on the firepit on the lower deck and playing fooseball in the play room downstairs. The huge garage was a big hit for my 6 year old who brought her skates and was enjoying skating her life away in there. We enjoyed a small hike and lakes and creeks are close by! Thank you for sharing this home with us.

The property was beautiful. Great views, plenty of room, and very comfortable.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. While there were a lot of rules, none were too invasive. I would say they might be conveyed in a better way to allow people to feel a little more welcome. The only issue we had was the check-in/checkout times. We were not permitted to check-in until 4pm which was pretty late for a vacation in which the accommodations were the primary focus. Similarly, checkout was set for 9am. It was very difficult to get everyone organized and out at that time. More reasonable times would have been nice. However, the stay was overall very enjoyable.

Lovely home with amazing views of Pine Creek Canyon. We loved sitting on the spacious deck for morning coffee and in the evenings to watch the sunsets and later the night skies full of stars. Comfy beds and everything needed in the kitchen was provided. Only challenge for us flat landers was climbing the many stairs to enter the home.

Prepare for rules posted everywhere —

After finding the home(at the top of 2 massive hills our car barely made it) we arrived and never received the code to open the door. I called and texted the owner, no response. So I contacted vrbo, after standing in the sun for 20 minutes waiting to get in I finally got the code to open the door. Owner did respond to me fairly after. We were greeted by 4 pages of rules, everything from what to cook where to having to take all trash with you. Everywhere you look there was a framed note with a rule on it , there was also sticky notes everywhere reminding of rules. The water wouldn’t get hot, so I contacted the owner again, we soon figured out the hot water issue BUT the water pressure turns off on its own constantly. Water kept turning off on you while washing dishes and in the shower. There was women’s hair all over the shower wall upstairs..We attempted to cook but the oven would not work so we opted to use the BBQ. There was no knives so having to cut steak with a butter knife was fun. To make bacon and pancakes in the morning we were told we HAVE to use the skillet, NO stove. . So we did, but the skillet was WORN and rusted and it took 1 hour to cook 1 small packet of bacon. We were thrown back at the amount of personal stuff ALL OVER the house. All closets in the rooms were stuffed with person stuff, bathroom cabinets , garage,everywhere! There was even a car garage. Prepare to walk on eggshells while here, no relaxing allowed with having to remember EVERY RULE!!!

I am an Arizona native and I grew up in the valley and in Pine. My parents built a cabin in Pine in 1980 that we enjoyed on the weekends and holidays with friends and family. I have many wonderful memories of perfect springs, fabulous summers, colorful autumns and beautiful snow covered holidays. We built this house on a hillside in the northeast corner of Pine in 2007 and have enjoyed it ever since. Pine is still the same small town I love. The views are spectacular from every window and the wildlife is amazing. You can do as much as you want or nothing at all! It's all about how you define vacation time.

Our home provides you everything needed to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. We built it to enjoy it with our friends and family and we know you will too!! A wonderful, small town experience to enjoy the outdoors, the four seasons, holidays & special occasions. Also centrally located in Rim Country, for a fun, quick, getaway weekend or a great location for longer stays to set up base and take day trips to Sedona, Prescott, the Grand Canyon, Jerome & Flagstaff. Enjoy hiking, fishing, biking, bird watching, etc...

What makes this property unique

The house is perfect for couples and families. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The kitchen has double ovens, a microwave, dishwasher and large refrigerator. There is an additional refrigerator/freezer in the garage. There is a large stone fireplace in the family room with floor to ceiling chalet windows, comfy couches and recliners. A wrap around deck to enjoy to the views, the wildlife and the peace and quiet.
