Owner has paid attention to details. House is updated and well put together. There is a bathroom in 2 of the bedrooms. Beds and pillows very comfy. Enjoyed the hot tub and outside swinging couch. Very peaceful setting. Can't think of any negatives. Sparta is a neat town. As one of the locals put it "It's not a lot but it's enough"

We make every effort to satisfy our guests. The cottage takes hours to fully clean replacing all debate covers sheets, towels, rags with clean ones after each day the cottage was fully remodeled with all the appliances and heating and cooling replaced. We appreciate guest always enjoying their stay.

The cottage, the property and the amenities were fantastic. Tucked away, yet easy access to the parks and charming downtown Sparta. Thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend. Comfortable cottage, clean with available appliances, and basically everything we needed.

Beautiful home in a beautiful landscape. Close to downtown Sparta and several waterfalls. So many little extras provided by the host to ensure you have a wonderful stay. I can't recommend high enough.

The cottage was perfect for our family of 5. There were so many amenities that I appreciated… a well stocked kitchen with stainless steel pans ( instead of old peeling teflon pans like we usually see in rental properties ) spices, plenty of bath towels for everyone, extra blankets, soaps and detergents, the hot tub, the Green Egg grill (my husbands favorite), the outdoor swinging day bed (my favorite). I wish we had longer to relax and enjoy the quiet country setting. Thank you, Gary for being an amazing host!

Amazing Home

The house was amazing and the view incredible. The beds were extremely comfy and the house had everything you need. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

I've stayed in many rental homes, and this one exceeded all expectations! Our home was very clean and comfortable. Our host was available and attentive to any need we may have had - but Gary is on top of it! He's thought of everything - ROCKSTAR HOST!

We met with long time friends that haven’t all been together in two years at least. We spent much time just chatting in the living room. It’s a very pretty area in the fall. We enjoyed and would stay again. Gary was very nice and accommodating. We really only had one question the day before our stay and answered almost immediately.

The home was newly renovated and the host did an excellent job creating a modern farmhouse design. Gary (our host) supplied us with everything we needed to have an awesome experience including coffee, spices, water, firewood, detergent, soaps, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub and made a huge bonfire. If we ever come back we would definitely stay there again!
