Golf Getaway

We were in town for the PGA qualifier and this was the perfect landing spot for our stay. Conveniently located to everything we needed. The guys enjoyed watching sports on the big screen and we all enjoyed the pool. Owners were super quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend.

Overall, I would say 9 out of 10.Communication with the hosts were excellent. They were very responsive and answered all my questions. House was nice. Very clean & suited our needs quite well. The "bunk" room was nice for the kids, but it did get warm in the room & needed the door open. Pool was nice. Location was excellent to Round Rock.Little quirk, but not detrimental to the stay, & not possibly the fault of the hosts. I had issues getting confirmation from the 3rd party sites for booking. I signed 2 sets online docs on 2 different sites, but the hosts asked me to sign as they had not received. I don't think they were getting the confirmations.

Great retreat

The house had everything we needed! Lots of rooms and beds, towels (both bath and pool), the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, face soup, and body wash. We prepared most meals at the house, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed including food storage bowls for leftovers. There were monitors in the rooms so we could stream our movies and shows. The pool was the best part. The trees provided afternoon shade, there are several lounge chairs and an outdoor dining table under a shaded patio. Inside, there’s a large dining table providing seating for 8. We loved the projector setup in the garage for a movie night. All around great stay. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Flys are anproblem

Not nearly as nice looking in person. Overall the flys were everywhere and the lawn was very unkept. The location was nice to our event space, but with all the additional paperwork, and guest passes to have to deal with, I would not rent here again.

While we’re glad the location worked well for your event, it’s disappointing to learn about the issues you encountered. We do wish we had heard from you during your stay — we have a responsive team that could’ve sent someone over immediately to address the yard or anything else affecting your comfort. The guest registration process is required by the HOA and, while outside of our control, we try to make it as easy as possible through clear and timely communication. We’re always working to improve, and your feedback helps us do just that. Thank you again for staying with us.

The house is nice and homey. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for our family stay. The beds were comfortable with the exception of some squeaky bed frames. The pool is clean. The complimentary pool towels are a nice touch. The only reason we did not give a 5 star is because the house cleaners could have done a better job of sweeping, mopping and vacuuming the house, and the grill needs to be replaced. We swept the kitchen floor upon arriving. We struggled with the grill because the fire would not stay on regardless of there being sufficient amount of propane in the tanks. The tube burner seems to need replacing. If people like to cook, best to bring a couple of your own pans. Plenty of utensils are provided; cookware is basic and some of it stained. The bathroom in the master bedroom looks to have a small leak behind the toilet. Sharing this in case the host is unaware; we discovered this when taking out the trash. The host provides great communication and is quick to respond with answers to any questions. We would rent this house again if there is a need to travel to Roundrock. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Good experience for those looking for a family vacation stay.
