We had a wonderful stay! Owners were very welcoming, helpful and communicative. We look forward to coming back next yr for a longer stay. My only recommendation would be to leave somr salt out for the stairs out front and outback as they get very icey.

Thank you so much! I’m glad you had a wonderful stay — and your sunrise photos were amazing! We’d love to have you back next year.
I also appreciate the note about the stairs. I’ll be sure to leave salt out in both spots for guests. Thanks again for being such great guests! ❄️🌅
About the host
Hosted by Anne Huckins
Originally from NH, we’ve been snowmobiling for over 40 years in NH and Maine. We have a passion for outdoor activities. I love hosting because it allows me to share the beauty of our area and help guests create unforgettable memories in nature.
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood for Huck’s Hideaway because it offers the best of both worlds. Tucked away in a quiet and peaceful setting, it feels like a true retreat where you can slow down and soak in the beauty of nature. At the same time, you’re just minutes from hiking trails, sparkling lakes, and some of the best skiing in Maine. It’s close to everything, yet far enough removed that you feel completely away from it all—a balance I fell in love with and knew would be perfect for guests, too.
What makes this property unique
What makes Huck’s Hideaway unique is its balance of seclusion and convenience. It’s a cozy cabin retreat with sweeping mountain views, tucked away in a peaceful setting yet just minutes from Rangeley’s lakes, trails, and ski slopes. It’s more than a rental—it’s a place to slow down, recharge, and create lasting memories.
