Good location for our weekend plans. Cottage was minimally appointed, but clean. A couple of minor inconveniences: coffee maker is Keurig so had to search for pods (thanks Cumberland farms), ice maker was broken (and made a weird noise, and another guest walked in on us (wrong unit but had the code).

The property overall was small and cute. Great walking distance to a few small shops, ice cream, and the beach. We were a bit disappointed when we got to the property. It was not cleaned and had to wait for the cleaning company to clean while we were there. There was a window AC unit, but it was not enough to cool the whole place down. It was very hot! In the description of the property I was under the impression it had a "laundry" area. When we arrived we became aware it didnt have one. It was such a shame, since we have 2 small children. Overall we enjoyed Middletown and seeing parts of Newport.

There were some problems with the heating system. The host was very responsive and sent someone to fix the problem. Great location and a very cute little spot.

Just right for two people

The location of this property was perfect, since my elderly husband and I were in Middletown to visit nearby family. The house is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shopping for staples. It has been renovated recently and has a bright, pleasant look. Furnishings are comfortable and kitchen appliances are new. The "smart TV" was easy to get used to. The bathroom is tiny; it would be nice if the tub/shower had a grab bar. Air conditioning could use an upgrade (we were renting in mid-July, during an uncommonly hot and humid period).
