Great little spot! Beautiful view. Nice and clean, and the owner was super responsive and friendly. Only five minutes from Storyland, so great for a family trip with the little ones.
The condo was beautiful, the view from the mountain top was unmatched to any place I’ve ever stayed in the past. The full kitchen and master bedroom with master bath was very nice. And overall it was a very cozy and extremely clean property that I would certainly consider staying at again. However it lost two stars on this review for the following reasons. 1. The beds seemed very worn, they were bumpy and saggy and not at all comfortable. I’d recommend the host replacing them with modern memory foam mattresses.2. The couches also seemed very dated. They were not at all comfortable and they sagged towards the middle. 3. The dinning table looked nice, but was not comfortable to sit at. The design of the table had the support legs in the absolute worst positions, and I was constantly bumping my knees trying to take a seat. 4. There is an expectation from the host that the guests are to take the trash they created during their stay, and drive it all the way down the mountain and then about 13 minutes away to a local dump. While this alone is not a deal breaker, the fact is the Bartlett/Jackson transfer station has terrible hours, and on the date of checkout was not open until 12pm, 2 hours after we were planning to check out (which is also an hour after we were expected to check out) the host was gracious enough to offer us the opportunity to stay at the condo until the transfer station opened up, but that was not an option. I had to drive my trash all the way home….
