Why they chose this property
This property is owned by two sisters, and it holds deep meaning for our family. Our beloved brother lived in this house for 20 years before tragically passing away from colon cancer at the age of 48. He was kind, vibrant, soulful, and the most East Coast hippie you could ever meet.
When he passed, my sister and I traveled to the house to meet with a realtor, intending to put it up for sale. But the moment we walked inside, we knew we couldn’t do it. His final wish was for the house to remain a safe haven for his nieces and nephews—a place where they could play, be in nature, and, most importantly, be together.
So we chose to renovate instead. After two years of hard work, challenges, and dedication, we transformed it into not only a livable space, but a home that truly celebrates the beauty of its surroundings. Our brother owned and operated Diablo Glass, and we’re proud to carry on a piece of his spirit here.
We warmly welcome you to Mt. Diablo.
