Stay in beautiful Stony Brook at this charming 1-bedroom cottage situated in a quiet neighborhood. Private home and property is all yours!

Walk to enchanting Stony Brook Village (15 - 20 mins.) which includes the Marina/Yacht Club, Sand Street Beach and Stony Brook University.

Short 5 minute drive to West Meadow Beach. 90 Minute drive or train ride from New York City or Hamptons. 45 minutes from North Fork Wineries.

-Small sofa with comfortable pull-out twin bed (+ futon in the bedroom, good for kids)

The property was really cute and clean. It was well situated on a quiet street and close to beaches and main road where stores are located. My only critique would be the lack of curtains or shades for some of the windows.

Clean and comfortable! Cheryl was extremely timely concerning communication and very attentive to a couple of specific needs that arose. If you want a host that goes out of their way to ensure you have what you need in this charming home, you cannot go wrong choosing them!

The Stony Brook cottage was just delightful. The kitchen/refrigerator very clean as well as bathroom. Bed was comfortable and it was wonderful to sleep in peace and quiet as the two fawns outside my bedroom window didn’t make a peep. Cottage was in a superb location and I was able to get around the island with no problems (as long as I had GPS). Thanks again for a great stay.

It was our first time at Stony Brook and if the weather was better it could’ve been perfect. The cottage had everything we needed and was close to everything. Unfortunately the rain kept us from really exploring on foot. Communication was great and the cottage had everything to make our trip comfortable

Lovely cozy very nicely decorated cottage in quiet and charming neighborhood! Plenty of room for a family of three with thoughtful touches like microwave popcorn, oatmeal, tea and coffee, Our hosts were helpful, responsive and friendly and there were notes with instructions to guide us how to turn things on.

A Little Gem!

Check in couldn’t be easier! As soon as you walk in this home you will instantly feel at home! The quaint decor and attention to details are special and welcoming. The kitchen has a cute little stocked coffee bar and hand labeled canisters with tea and hot chocolate! Bed is super comfy and there are window units for hot nights. Bathroom has the essentials including hair products and shower gel. The large backyard is quiet and I enjoyed sitting out and listening to the birds in this quiet neighborhood. The train and ferry are very close as are great restaurants. Port Jefferson is a few minutes down the road and is a great little coastal community with a fun vibe and lots to experience. I highly recommend this rental for a relaxing get away!

Cute little cottage. Older so don’t expect shiny new and modern. But clean and comfortable. Don’t bring a really big truck though. Tiny roads but great location for a Three Village visit.

Beautiful, charming and quiet place with nice, equipped garden, very well situated between the beach and Stony Brook University. We appreciated the setting, comfort and decoration in the home. It was overall very clean, but the kitchen hood was a bit sticky. Suggestions for small upgrades: more serving tools in the kitchen: serving dishes, salad bowl, serving spoons and a strainer/colliander. would be good to have a strainer grid in the bathroom sink
