We had a wonderful stay in this mountain cabin. It has all the comforts of home (good beds, great shower, internet, Netflix, Prime and DirecTV) and it’s pet friendly. I had some questions when I was there and the owner responded immediately and she was very nice and helpful. There’s no cell service but you can text or email. We’ll be returning to the area again and we plan to stay there.

Nice secluded area; owner is NOT joking when she says bring food and water with you because closest store is 45+ minutes away (same for gas) ; the local general store doubles as a burger stand and was delicious; we made the trip to 100 Giants and Kern River ; both were great!

Nice and quiet retreat in the mountains. Really enjoyed the trees and decks outside. Air conditioner and internet worked well. Took my dog with me and there is lots of level ground on top for him but access to the lower deck and property has stairs so my older dog had a hard time with them. There are other neighbors around and was visited by a dog and cat from some other house but no issues.There is a small store and restaurant about two miles down road in pine flat. Good food and very nice people. My car broke down on the way home and they went out of their way to assist me in getting a tow truck. I would recommend this property to someone who wants to enjoy the mountains and breezes in a quiet shaded setting and is dog friendly.
