Great location for a couple. Even though it's a shared property, felt private and we enjoyed the quiet. The scenery was wonderful and natural, even though everything was a quick drive. We really enjoyed our visit!
It was a nice property for two people who like to fish. Good dock for a small boat as water is too shallow for anything larger than 20 ft. The fishing on the grass nearby was good for specks. Caught maybe thirty to 24 inches with topwater one morning. the dock was shared with a young couple staying the weekend nest door. This was not a problem. The covered porch on the dock was a good place to sit in comfortable chairs outside. The bungalow is small and the bed tight to the walls. There is no microwave or way to warm coffee, but it did have a nice Kurek. We actually used the portable hotplate to warm coffee. Has a good and unique shower. Overall clean and tastefully furnished. We like to cook and that was difficult. It has a hot plate and a type of air fryer, but no stove. Some very good golf close by and we played each day. It was quite secluded and quiet. Enjoyed the stay.
My son and I enjoyed our stay at the Aripeka Island Retreat! Clean and cozy indoors and a wonderful location on the water with multiple outdoor areas to enjoy. A large screened in outdoor area along with additional seating areas near the dock with enjoyable decor. Kayaks and dock provided with beautiful scenery to enjoy. A close paddle to the Gulf, should you like the adventure, or calmer waters the other way should you choose. We also visited SunWest, close to the rental, where my son enjoyed wake boarding. In the evenings it is a quiet location where you can enjoy the stars. Fire pit and grill available. The owner was kind and caring and available for any needs during the visit.
Nice, quiet getaway. Easy access to the gulf . Boat ramp couple mins down the road. Good dock access for 16ft and under boats
