The host was excellent and accommodating. The condo was nice and well appointed with everything you would need. The view was what made the place. Not sure there’s a better view in the area.

Beautiful location

We loved our stay in Royal Mauian. the view was breathtaking and you could hear the waves breaking as you slept. we loved location, could walk to food trucks and heart of kiehi less then a mile away. This accommodation was perfect for 6 and could easily sleep more on the couch. would definitely come back again.

We love the location of these condos. This is our 2nd time at this property and first time in this condo. Condo was clean and comfortable for 2 adults and 4 older teenagers. There did seemTo be an abundance of some items in the kitchen

Great location just steps away from the beach and well situated in central Kihei.

Great location, however, the Royal Mauian is becoming dated. The property is well maintained but definitely showing it's age. Well situated within Kihei, walking distance to the beautiful beaches and amenities. Prices very high in comparison to other properties nearby.

Great condo

Great condo with great views and great location. Would definitely stay here again. A few minor repairs need to be made due to the age of the building but nothing major. We enjoyed our nights and mornings on the lanai and the days at two beaches within walking distance. No AC but don't need it if you manage the house well with the fans and windows. Plenty of room for our 4 family members. Could have easily fit up to 6. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic service from the rental manager

We loved the location and the service could not have been better when we needed info. My only issue was the lack of A/C. That was mentioned in the description and we thought we would be OK without it but it would have made a big difference

Best view in Kihei

My family had a great time at the Royal Mauian. The views from the lanai were amazing, we really enjoyed the awesome roof top grills, and the location is walking distance to good food, cute shops and a boogie board rental. The room came with several beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler. The two beaches the Royal Mauian sits between were fantastic! And on the plus side, there were 2 rinse off stations, one located on the way back from either beach. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for the amazing family vacation!

Perfect setting, spacious condo

The setting is unbeatable — sunsets over the ocean from the lanai, coral reef snorkeling right out front, two pristine beaches to the right and left. Unbeatable! Condo is spacious, comfortable, up to date, and very clean. A perfect choice for a family. Did I mention all the sea turtles?

A true home away from home!

THE GOOD: Absolutely loved the property and its location! We were just a few steps away from the beach – which was great for our 22 month old. And a quick drive from any other beach where we wanted to snorkel. We were also right across the street from a natural market and some places to eat and buy souvenirs. It was perfect. The apartment, which didn’t have air conditioning, was still extremely refreshing with the breezes that came through (For exceptionally hot evenings we opened the front door to create amazing cross ventilation). We had an amazing view – the ocean!! It was spectacular – both at sunrise & sunset…breathtaking, really. The apartment is very spacious, with enough space in the living room for everyone to do their own thing! There was a lot of beach equipment which was neatly stored in a bin on the lanai. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need – with everything properly labeled. The dishwasher worked really well. It really did feel like a home away from home. We had gone to Costco earlier in the week and stocked up for the week. We grilled more than half of the time on the roof top grill – very convenient! The property managers were also very prompt in answering any questions or concerns we had and even let us check out a few hours later on check out day, due to a delayed flight. So accommodating and it was appreciated. THE NOT SO GOOD: The middle room was pretty hot. It did not have the cross breezes of the two adjacent rooms and being that the washer and dryer are also in that room it added to the heat. Although there were signs in the apartment to let us know that there were “ants,” and we should always clean up after ourselves and cover food. The bugs were something we were still not anticipating. They were everywhere! They weren’t hurtful and they didn’t rain on our parade – but still not fun to see – they especially came out at night and would linger around the sink up until the morning. Overall an amazing experience and beautiful place to stay. There were six adults and a baby - and it never felt crowded! Always something to do.
