4/10 Poor

Just okay

This property could use some upgrades. It's okay if you're looking for just the basics but it could be much better if they paid more attention to it. You could do better than this property.

Great stay!

Our group stayed for 3 days and overall had a great time. Richard was nice enough to give us a tour around the area. The lake was beautiful and very clean. The cottage itself was cute and comfy. It provided canoes/kayaks, life jackets, pots/pans etc. The cottage was very spacious with lots of beds. Unfortunately, we were there during a fire ban so we weren't able to take advantage of the fire pit. A minor issue that affected one of our group members was the wifi. It said that there was wifi at the main lodge but we could not access it from the cottage which was inconvenient for one of our guests (don't worry, she survived). There was beach volleyball which we enjoyed. We really enjoyed the lake, it was very peaceful and beautiful. Fishing was fun for some of us. One of our group members enjoyed fishing off the dock a little too much. Overall stay was very mice!! Thank you Richard for a wonderful stay!!

A wonderful stay on a beautiful property

A group of 10 of us came up to the farmhouse for a long weekend in summer and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Richard went above and beyond in making us comfortable! He called me after I booked the cottage and shortly before our trip to share details and answer our questions, was there to welcome us and show us the grounds, and helped with anything we needed. The cottage itself was spacious with lots of beds to comfortably sleep our entire group. We were there during a heat wave and it definitely got hot without air conditioning but Richard brought up fans for every room, which really helped. The private beach and lake are STUNNING, you are welcome to take out water equipment any time, there are private hiking trails on the grounds, and there is lots to do in the area - we would've loved to stay longer and experience more of the activities. Thank you very much Richard for such a wonderful stay!!
