About this property
Coe Lake Haus - Newly-Built Luxury Cottage w/ Unlimited Wi-Fi, AC, & Watercraft
This stunning, newly built, and beautifully decorated Ontario cottage rental sits on the shore of Coe Lake, just a short distance from shopping, restaurants and things to do in Bancroft (20 minute drive) and a convenient drive for those coming from the city (just under 3 hours from either Toronto or Ottawa). Coe Lake Haus cottage allows you to stay at a luxurious home away from home in Cottage Country. Relax and enjoy the privacy, natural surroundings, beautiful lake views, great swimming and s'mores around a bonfire.
The main room of the cottage features an expansive cathedral ceilinged living room with a stone propane fireplace, a large fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful design choices. The living room includes spacious seating and a 65" Smart TV with Netflix and Prime, HDMI port and unlimited Wi-Fi. The kitchen comes fully equipped, including a dishwasher, and is the perfect spot for you to make that gourmet meal. One of the benefits of this newly built cottage rental is guests will get to enjoy completely new, and modern, accessories in every room.
There are 3 bedrooms, and the cottage can sleep up to 8. The main bedroom (king bed) has an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet, and the remaining two bedrooms have queen beds. There is also an air mattress that can sleep two people. The cottage is spacious and includes 3 bathrooms (one 4-piece, one 3-piece and a powder room).
On the exterior, there is a covered deck with a comfortable seating area, a new BBQ, and an outdoor dining table with an umbrella and 6 chairs. The large grass lawn leads into a pathway to the stairs which will take you down to the firepit and waterfront. There's a large dock with a ladder for easy entry to the water. A canoe and two kayaks are included with the rental.
There are lots of shops and restaurants in nearby Bancroft, as well as the Bancroft Mineral Museum, and Eagle's Nest Lookout. Riverside Park has a great children's playground and skateboard park, plus a nice walking trail, and the Bancroft North Hastings Heritage Museum is on site there. Whether Summer, Fall or Winter, there is always lots to do as there are two Provincial Parks - Silent Lake and Egan Chutes - within a 30-minute drive and if you are looking to do a day trip, it's just over an hour to the Eastern entrance of Algonquin Park, and Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve (which features a world renowned Wolf Centre!). Feeling adventurous? Try a whitewater rafting excursion at the Madawaska Kanu Centre or horseback riding and dogsledding at Highland Wilderness Tours
