The description of a peaceful location was not true. The condo is located on the outskirts of Tulum in the jungle. There is a huge amount of construction- hammering nonstop on a building site nearby. There are no restaurants or stores anywhere nearby. We had no choice but to rent a car- the 17 minute walk to the beach is an exaggeration- also it is along an unpaved road with no sidewalk. The host was responsive when we had a problem with a noise issue from a nearby condo. The condo itself is relatively new and modern but very small- bedroom is departed by a glass wall.
