Spacious home set among the redwoods. Very close to Cal Poly Humboldt campus (less than 5 min walk to graduation venue), with ample parking in private driveway.

This unique home is practically on the HSU campus (less than 5 min walk to grad ceremony venue). Nestled in the redwoods, you can easily access the forest trails or campus right outside the door.

You will have access to the entire home (except the garage) including free parking in the driveway and outdoor space.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils, and basic cooking needs (oil, spices, etc). There is a toaster, full stove, microwave, and air fryer. Enjoy bay views from the kitchen space.

The front living room boasts panoramic windows overlooking the forest. The back living room has a large couch and TV with access to streaming services.

Bedroom 1 (upstairs) - king bed, large closets, bay view

Bedroom 2 (upstairs) - queen bed, closet, desk, computer monitor

Bedroom 3 (upstairs) - twin bed with optional pullout to create two twins or king, closet

Bedroom 4 (downstairs) - couch/futon bed (approx full size), closet

Additional amenities (e.g., pack and play, children’s toys, etc) can be provided upon request.

There is a large backyard with bay views, a treehouse, and outdoor seating. The yard is fenced in and backs right onto Redwood Park with access to forest trails.

Absolute gem of a property. The home was comfortable and clean. The host was communicative and accommodating. Loved that it was so close to the college as we were there to celebrate a graduation. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Loved the fire pit in the back yard!

BAD!!!

I'm very upsetting due to no privacy, the moment we check in and there's camera everywhere. One hour later i get a message complaining about the number of guest with me. I do have family with kids up there visiting my family that night and went home a little late...No privacy due to camera is on, no curtain on kitchen window, livingroom window, bathroom window and there's no dinning table..3 out of 4 bedrooms beds are way too small more like a rollaway beds....First and Last there!!! Not worth the money...

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear the stay didn’t meet your expectations, and I appreciate the chance to share a bit more detail for future guests. To clarify, all of the bedrooms and the front living room have curtains for privacy. The kitchen, back living room, and bathroom have windows that look out onto a fully fenced private backyard, with no view from any neighboring homes. The beds in the home are exactly as listed in the description, and we’re always happy to provide an extra air mattress if needed—just let us know! If specific bed sizes are important for your group, we always recommend reviewing the full listing to make sure everything is just right for your needs. Regarding security, the property does have exterior cameras, which are clearly mentioned in both the listing and house rules. These are required by our insurance and are only there to help keep the home—and all our guests—safe. During this stay, a neighbor let us know there might be more guests than expected, and we noticed the exterior cameras had been unplugged after a 4th carload of people arrived with luggage. The reservation was made for 6 guests, but nearly 20 appeared to be there at one point. After checkout, our team did find some damage to the home—including water issues in the bathroom, a scratched cooktop, and quite a bit of furniture moved—which delayed our ability to get things ready for the next guests. We truly care about providing a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone who stays with us. We’re always here to answer questions and go over the details ahead of time to help ensure each visit goes smoothly.
