This fully equipped, spacious 5 BR first floor unit is situated directly on the bay, with just a short 3 block walk to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and newly renovated movie theater.
This renovated, well maintained 5 bedroom 1700 sq foot first floor unit, offers flexible living/sleeping arrangements for you, your friends and family.
No need to pack sheets, towels or even beach chairs, everything is provided for you, including beach towels, and boogie boards. After the beach take advantage of the kayaks, swim off of the floating dock, or take a bike ride to grab bite to eat.
Outdoor actives, kayaking, bicycling tikished are available between May 15th and October 1st weather permitting.
Catch dinner in the crab traps or grill on one of the 2 propane grills provided while relaxing on your deck from this 1st floor unit, ,overlooking the bay, or in the tiki bar located in the spacious side yard.
Bring your boat or PWC, Boat/wave runner slips available. Short walk to the beach restaurants and convenience stores.

Must see sunsets and direct water access to the Atlantic Ocean for fishing and water sports We have Kayaks and bicycles for your use!

We had so much fun swimming off the docks and exploring the area in the small boats that the house provided! So many turtles and rays. Loads of crabs in traps! Amazing bird watching, including having an osprey nests right across from the house!Barb was great, made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

Barbara was very friendly and very helpful.. location great, House was clean only one problem and that was one of the TVs in the bedroom was not working small problem, I would recommend staying there. The sunsets were beautiful Thank you Barbara for your help.

Family reunion

Great place for family gathering, plenty of room for everyone, clean, right on a inner river marsh system, beach is 3-4 blocks away. Paddleboard, kayaks and bicycles was avail for use and the kids love it.

Great house, great location, responsive Host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It is within walking distance of the beach and the restaurants in ventnor. Barbara, the host was very responsive to any of our needs. The house is well supplied with beach badges, beach chairs & boogie boards. There is a lovely barbecue area with a barbecue and table and chairs. Lots of bayfront access for kayaking, crabbing and swimming. Great for a family vacation! 2 parking passes along with one driveway spot… a real plus for this very busy family area of Ventnor.

Our first time using VRBO. Barbara was fantastic, she was available if we needed her and left us alone if we didn't need her. House stayed cool with the window ac units. This is a duplex, not sure if description states that. Can definitely hear footsteps from upstairs unit but not horribly. Hopefully the other tenants are friendly (ours not so much). There are some mild repairs needed but nothing that stopped us from enjoying the house. I would definitely stay here again (with enough folks to rent the upstairs too).

I f you have moment I would love to hear from you in text or email regarding the repairs you mentioned so I can be sure they are on my to do list. I had major bulkhead work done in the spring and am still in the process of dock repairs as well as indoor maintenance. Would love to have to back.

Too much sunlight

The bedrooms definitely needed sunshades, not fun, waking up in the morning to sun in your eyes. Also found about five tacks on bedroom floor. Not thrilled with the noise on the upper level but I guess there’s not too much you can do about that. Also absolutely no place to hang towels in second bathroom. The outside spaces were wonderful. We found the apartment very clean. Had to go out and buy a roll of toilet paper

Great Stay!

The house was perfect for my group celebrating my 30th birthday as we did not want to be spread out across hotel room. House was clean and neat. Only a 5-7 min uber/lyft ride to the Tropicana and 10-12 min ride to the Borgota side. There was a WAWA very close for late eats and snacks. Any questions we had the host responded pretty quickly. Only problem we had was the front door code was changed or locked after coming home from the casino very late. We could not reach the host via message, as I was about to call her we realized luckily the side door was unlocked. We only had people up stairs one night but beware you can definitely hear foot steps constantly. Not a big deal for us for one night. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

Good but could have been better

Barb the owner was nice enough. Listing stated ac units in house. First week of June and they were not installed; didn’t realize until my guests started complaining about how hot unit was…First night was miserable due to no AC…next day chilly and overcast so didn’t need units. We felt owner should have been out next day to install but didn’t. Internet was on fritz which meant TVs we’re not working. Lack of communication on the AC front made we not reach out about that as well. (After i did mention on Sunday Barb said she could have reset). Some sort of demo work was done next door that is slightly brings the ambiance down but not a huge deal…She mentions that after you book vaguely. Overall a nice location and Barb was a nice person. Maybe next time these issues will be resolved. I’d recommend but have these discussions ahead of time.

I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, the dates the AC units are installed are posted in the listing. The temperature in the spring is much cooler at the shore ant the heat often is need until early June. I have a handyman scheduled to install them, as I am not able to lift the 8 units into the windows myself, I was unable to get him out that day. I am going to completely resolve this issue by having central air installed, that is in the plans for this winter. The WiFi was such a simple fix, I am able to reset it from my phone, once I am made aware,

Activities galore

I stayed in this unit with 4 other adults and our 2 small dogs in September. Having separate bedrooms with full-size beds is a luxury for a family of adults. There were ample seating areas for us all, inside and out. The star features of this property are the activities and outdoor amenities! Kayaking through the marsh was magical! They have an abundance of life vests and 6 or 7 different kayaks/paddle boards. The docks were a beautiful place to view the sunset, and the water was even warm enough to swim in. The garage was full of more equipment like bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, fishing rods, and beach caddies! With a short 8 minute walk to the beach and similar walks to some excellent restaurants (shout out to Bruno's and the Queen Bean!), it was impossible to be bored! We did have a few difficulties around cooking & cleaning. Most of the pots and pans had been scraped up by previous guests, leaving peeling coatings which aren't safe to cook with. And there were very few cooking utensils that wouldn't scratch the safe pans. We adapted, but cooking a dinner for 5 was like pulling teeth, so we had to get restaurant food more often than we intended. A new set of cookware and a set of silicone utensils might easily solve this for the future! And for guests, we recommend bringing toilet paper and dish sponges. One of us wished she had brought an extra blanket. Overall, we had a great time and would happily book again.

Perfect shore vacation

We rented this house for a long weekend. The inside and outside of the house is extremely clean and well kept. Barbara is a great host who really keeps her guests in mind at all times. Anything you could possibly need for your stay is there for you. A fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of beach and bath towels. My teenagers never once said they were bored. The kayaks, bikes, boogie boards, fishing poles and crab traps were put to good use this weekend. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a waterfront getaway. It is close to the beach, walking distance to eateries and stores, a quiet neighborhood. We hope to book again next year!

Owner stopped in a couple times unannounced. The kayaks were fun. Parking spot in driveway and street was opened too. Furniture is old, but you could see that from the pictures. One bed ended up rusting and leaving marks on my friends clothes. Kitchen is being re done beautifully, a nice open concept.

An absolutely perfect house on the bay

Barbara’s house is the best beach house I have ever rented. It was impeccably clean, which was very important to me during these times. The location can’t be beat. Swimming and kayaking in the bay is a luxury I never knew existed as I always rented closer to the ocean. Here, you have the opportunity to do it all. The sunsets are amazing. We were with my 22 yo son and his gf and they had the best time. Barbara is a phenomenal host and the fact that kayaks, crab traps and a great set up outside are all provided makes this house top notch. Very friendly and easy access neighborhood. I am already checking to see when we can return. A real gem.

Great Location and Water Toys

We really enjoyed the ease of access being on the bay and only a few blocks from the beach. There is a nice dock and kayaks for use which the kids really enjoyed. The neighbors are all lovely and there was plenty of room for the 8 of us.

A Great Vacation Place

We had a wonderful time. Being on the water was so relaxing and we all enjoyed the fishing, crabbing and kayaking. Not having to bring bed linens and towels was a big plus. I would definitely rent this place again!

As a chemistry teacher at Atlantic City High School, I am able to spend my summers hosting my guests, making sure everyone has a wonderful vacation and all goes as planned. I enjoy all aspects of being a vacation rental property owner form the spring spruce ups to meeting all of my wonderful guest every summer. I take pride in my 5 star reviews and strive to make sure all my guest have a 5 star stay! I was born and raised in NYC during the 60's and 70's, most of my growing up years were spent at eh Jersey Shore. Every weekend and for the summer my family madde 125 mile drive down the Garden State Parkway to a little town that very few New Yorkers had ever heard of back then, Margate NJ. It was during those years I fell in love with living on a island, walking to the beach, boating, crabbing, fishing and waterskiing, not to mention the smell of the air.
I moved to Margate shortly after high school and have been a resident of either Ventnor of Margate ever since. My two beautiful daughters grew up swimming, diving, kayaking, crabbing on the bay, right where you''ll be staying. They are both spend their summers as lifeguards on our local beaches and aree studying to be teachers.
I would love to welcome you to my fun filled vacation paradise, and share with you my love for the Jersey Shore!!!
