Unique would be an understatement so I’m gonna call it sui generis. Have you ever lost a game of h.o.r.s.e. to a 10-year-old girl in a museum you can sleep in? Yeah me neither—until yesterday.

We flew in from out of state for our daughter’s wedding. The school house was a perfect place to stay! It was beautiful and practical. I was able to host a lovely bridal shower and the kids could get their wiggles out in the gym. The hosts were so generous with stocking board games and lots of equipment in the gym, as well as having instructions for using the player piano, organ, record player, and for viewing the historic glass items. On display Pictures and history through out helped us feel connected to the property. The location gave us beautiful country atmosphere with quick access to shopping and dining in Dallas. The history and attention to details in the school house made this a unique experience that I’d do again and recommend! Beds were comfortable, functional, and pretty. The hosts were very responsive to any questions i had. I suspect this vrbo will boom in popularity as word continues to get out.

The schoolhouse was a perfect location for our family gathering. The kids had so much fun on the play structure and in the gym. We enjoyed watching the horses across the street as well.Communication with the host was prompt and helpful.

The school house is an absolute gem. The host’s attention to detail makes a stay at the property comfortable, fun, educational and unique.
