Very dusty and had mold smell. Gate did not lock. Smelled like skunk outside. No lights in master bath. Not enough blankets. Makeup towels smelled musty.

Thank you for your feedback. Our newly renovated 1907 cottage is professionally cleaned and laundered multiple times per week, with extra blankets and pillows always available in both bedroom closets. The outdoor smell was likely from our beautiful garden—the purple flowering plants, which some guests occasionally mistake for a skunk smell. The lighting in the master bathroom was fully functioning. When we reached out the first morning, the minor gate issue was mentioned but was no concern; nothing else was noted, and it was addressed immediately upon your departure.
We love old homes, which are best suited for guests who appreciate them, along with our mature secret garden. We take pride in providing an exceptional experience, reflected in over 105 five-star reviews and many returning guests.
